1 death to the stupid books (which I'm pretty much ignoring), 1 death to the survival at 3 seconds left and 1 death at about the last quarter of her health of Q.E.D. Which honestly should have been 2 or 3 deaths watching the replay.
And I'm pretty sure I won't be able to do Q.E.D, it's hard, lol.

Still, that was the third attempt after a few hours so I think there's a chance of at least getting the 12 caps in one run. Maybe if I bomb through Q.E.D I might be able to get no deaths

Is that cheap? I know I can't do NDNB

Edit: Another random attempt, captured Q.E.D. on a run that failed 3 others >_>

So I guess it's at least possible then, just a matter of not f'ing anything up for once : /

After I gain access to play Marine Benefit, I learnt the following:
1. This game is much harder than it looks.
2. Megumi is sadist, brutal and ruthless.
3. Laptop keyboard can help you to unfocus randomly.
4. Megumi's survival is crazy.
5. Marine Benefit may be very easy to capture, but it is impossible to timeout.
6. Megumi's infamous non-spell deserves its fame.
7. You can never stop shooting at the right time to get more graze on easy attacks.
8. I like to timeout Megumi's 2nd non-spell more than capture.

Spoiler:

9. You can unlock Extra by 1cc Easy.
10. Megumi likes walling me in her 2nd spell.
11. Piercing is awesome.
12. I can somewhat graze the Megumi's arrow?

This shouldn't ever happen, on either Marisa shottype. If you time MarisaA's bomb so that you bomb right as the bullets start reaching you, the invincibility should be just long enough to last through the whole thing, and you won't have to dodge anything.

And Marisa has the better bombs so you can hardly blame that on Marisa can you

The books are not that hard compared to Four of a Kind or Starbow Break IMO, maybe you're doing it wrong?

Eternal Meek as ReimuA is also easily doable with one bomb. I don't know about ReimuB, though.

Just game overed on GFW Extra. So much harder to look at with 1/2 frameskip, but it drops to 30fps every time I freeze if I don't. :/

And about Starbow Break, had a run early today with 3 deaths and 11 captures. Failed Starbow Break and the survival. It's more disappointing than anything else.

Is preemptive bombing such a taboo thing? I know this is coming from a guy who deathbombs more than he bombs and often succeeds, but it's best to avoid what you suck at so that you can succeed at what you're good at and in all, succeed at your current goal.

That's a reasonable approach. However, in my opinion, TD Normal barely has anything threatening in the first five stages. Couple that with the rather limited resources this game has, and there's a strong temptation to just capture everything and conserve resources for Miko, who I think is much harder than all the earlier bosses combined.

A week ago, I 1LC'd Ten Desires Hard from pretty much no practice in the last month.

Today I failed a 1CC of PCB Hard (with 12 misses total) on the sixth wave of Ressurrection Butterfly. Youmu absolutely destroyed me and I made countless stupid mistakes in stages 3 and 4. And I game over'd to a blue bullet, not a red one.

Seriously hacked off right now. Probably says a lot about TD but more about overconfidence and blah and fuck it, I need a drink.

I dislike EoSD. Bubble bullets are ridiculously clippy, and combined with my inability to read bullets in that game... Just ew. At least when I play other games in the series, I can plainly see how I screwed up. With EoSD... Often times I don't see how, and it's just frustrating while trying to make a complete run through the game.

Also have I mentioned I hate bubble bullets? I'm fine with Yuugi's bubble bullets. Patchy? Sakuya? Remi? No. Just no.

The hitboxes are shit but the game is really fantastic otherwise.

I was using Youmu solo but I don't have a replay because I didn't feel it was anything special and I haven't touched IN in ages so I didn't know what I was really doing.
