Oh yeah, I remembered, I have savestates now. I can practice Chiyuri and Yumemi.

One of the victory matches against Chiyuri lasted for 6 minutes.  :V

I seriously love PoDD, it might be my favorite Touhou. <3

LLS Extra clear!

Got it on my first try too!  Well, not really, but first attempt in about a month.  I'd have to say there were at least a few "Oh shit, I'm totally gonna fail this run" moments.  One being Gengetsu's master spark phase, since the fast blue bullets after the spark are really tough for me... I managed to dodge the last wave of them on my last life with no bombs in reserve though, and got an extend immediately after.  Got to the last phase with 1 life 2 bombs, and I'm not so good at reading those types of patterns... Somehow pulled through though and finished with 1 life no bombs =D.

First death against Chiyuri. Made some really stupid mistakes throughout. I blame it being late.  :V
I think I'm getting the grips with this game now.

Replay desynced again, but I think I know what's causing it now.

FINALLY! I decided to pull up StB for no real reason and actually beat 6-2 on my first try! That last wave ALWAYS kills me too. :o

I booted up UFO for the first time in a long time and tried fighting Murasa... i got hit a lot during the stage and boss due to some rust... and i got to the anchor card with 1xx power and timed it out by accident.  :V

Did a random run of EoSD Extra after not playing it in months, got a 1DNB run with the one death being on Kagome-Kagome, of all things.

Then did a timeout of Flower Imaginary Dream Vine Lunatic, before remembering EoSD doesn't save replays of stages :V

As for Hypercam3, I never liked it. Couldn't get it to work properly either. Although that was quite a long time ago so eh.

EDIT:

So Kana herself is useless eh?

Stage 7 lasted less than a minute and the AI got hit by Kana's bullets the entire time.

I have no idea what happened there.

Yessssssss. Perfect Mu/Gengetu fight~ The advent of savestates to remove the stage portion really made this easier on me. Still, it's amazing how much harder she got when I actually got serious at perfecting her. ;^_^ Aah, a good fight like that is just what I needed to perk back up.

I also sacrifice a life on Kogasa's second card cause I can't do that one at all.

Off topic: I waited out the conversation scene with Aya and Hatate in spoiler-1 because I wanted to see how many jap characters that I could read.
I waited long enough and then the waterfall turned into a yellow background.

Decided recently that I'd work on Last Words. I was working on capping Hourai Elixir for unlocking Mokou's Last Word. It's funny that it took me more tries to cap the normal version than the hard version today. (normal: 31 tries, hard: 19 tries)

Speaking of captures, it seems that at some point in time, my score.dat file broke but in a good way. It says that I've capped Tele-Mesmerism (Reisen's Last Spell) for normal in one shot. I've clearly never pulled that off and if I did, I'd remember it.

I'm not really surprised.  Once you get the method down, it's just adjusting to the density.  Once you're used to the crossover green bullets, it's just the last phase that's tough.  Lunatic is a real bitch though, the last phase is really dense toward the end, to the point where there's so many bullets that some don't appear.  To be honest I think it took me 3-4 tries at 10fps.

Odd... But pretty nifty if it's something you need for a last word or something.  I think I've only captured it in a full run a couple times, I can't read horizontal bullets for the life of me... Or bullets from behind, but thankfully I can only think of a couple cards that do that.  Like this one.

The green bullets aren't that hard, at least in hard mode and under. You just go to the corner of the screen (I pick bottom right) and dodge that way. If you do it that way, the gaps are bigger.

Yeah, and once I realized they were aimed it suddenly felt a lot easier.  Regardless, a lot of my early failures on that card on Normal were because of those green bullets.  I was kinda crappy at crossover bullets in general back then though, so that may have had something to do with it.

They're aimed? I never noticed. Seems pretty random to me.
And the part that always killed me was usually the final phase. (the other deaths were me just being stupid or me moving over too much)

I beat PCB on Lunatic. It only took five live per continue, 3 continues, and nearly 60 bombs because I used Sakuya's homing option.

Though I'm not sure it's an achievement if I had to use my third continue and around 60 bombs to do it.

It depends on how you normally perform. If you feel accomplished then its an achievement.
