>Poke our head inside.
>If we don't see anyone inside: "Murasa?"
>If we get no response, leave and go back to the main street and head north

>You poke your head inside. The first thing you notice is the faint smell of vomit. There's a number of cots set up, with buckets set up beside them. You don't see anyone here. There is a door across the room.
>You call for Murasa, and get no response.
>Finding no other activity, you depart and east, then north.
>You are at the southern edge of the market, there are a number of food vendors here, selling all sorts of foodstuffs. Mostly fried. To the east, you can see a number of pubs along the street; you're fairly certain you had your run-in with Deva K on the far side of this street. To the North, you can see more of the market. Quite a few oni are moving through here, and a number of them are giving you brief looks. It's a little embarrassing... Obvious exits are North, South and East.

>Huh. Oni CAN have hangovers. This place must be busy when it's in operation.
>Give the oni that look polite nods, keep in mind that Deva K's word is hopefully still enough to keep us out of major trouble.
>Where's the Palace of the Earth Spirits? The East side, or straight down?
>North, look for a good place to get into the west side proper.

>You find a vender of fried...something that doesn't look too busy. "North, then west, then south," she says. "Can't miss it."

>Huh. Oni CAN have hangovers. This place must be busy when it's in operation.

>So it seems.
>You nod politely to the onlookers. Most seem happy to return.
>The Palace is northeast of here.

>Don't forget to thank the oni that helped.

>"Thanks," says the vendor, in a tone that suggests you should buy something next time.

>Head north, then west, then south (unless something really catches our eye along the way)

>You follow the Oni's directions, going through the market where you met Nue, and into a block of homes, similar to the ones near the palace. There are many oni here, going about daily life. You then go south, and come into what seems to have once been a decrepit neighborhood. You can see old buildings with the windows knocked next to freshly painted and patched up places. A lot of oni are milling about here in curious clothes, many of them wearing top hats, suit coats, and knee length skirts.
>In particular, a large building with the words "The Felt" in bright letters catches your eye, the sign over doors of glass. A few oni seem to be coming and going. Obvious exits are south, north, and east.

>You don't know if there's a dress code, or if this is just what's popular on this side of town.
>You head inside, imaging Utsuho in a top hat.
>The first thing you notice is the music; it is schmaltzy as can be. Lots of muted trumpets and strings. It sounds like visiting an old movie. It also looks like visiting an old movie, you see a very western-looking dining establishment in the front. To the rear there is a sizable dance floor, with the band playing on a stage. To the side, you notice a room with a number of gaming tables. You see a few oni in suits taking care of the tables, while there seem to be faeries watching over the dining area. Obvious Exits are North, South, and West
>You look around for Utsuho, and quickly notice a tall dark-haired woman with wings at the gaming table. Is she wearing a white cape over those? How weird.

>You call out her name. She turns around, and her eyes widen. "Maribel?" she says, more to confirm it to herself than really asking you.
>To a large degree, she looks like the same woman that walked into your office. But, there are the wings...And that cape, which is full of stars? And that large red eye on her chest, then there's the thing on her arm. Then the worst footwear you've ever seen. What in the hell happened to this woman's fashion sense? She used to be kind of stylish! Although, that cape is very captivating...

> "Good Lord! I should ask you the same thing! What's with the astronaut getup?"

>Utsuho makes a gesture to the dealer. "I'll fold. Got more important things to do."
>The dealer nods.

>You follow her back to the dining area. She has a seat at an empty table. It has a white tablecloth and a little lamp on it.
>"You've been topside already?" she says, frowning. "I wish you would have told me you were okay, I might have been able to give you a little help or something."
>"Could be worse," she says. "And yeah...things aren't good on that front."

> "And, well, given Keine's unavailable for a couple more hours...you apparently know the dreams all of us had weren't actually dreams. What REALLY happened?"

>"The short version? The Moriya goddesses drug Gensokyo into your world. That's what Gensokyo Isle was. Keine, Parsee, Ace, and I got it put back in place. You and Renko too, really. I might have bumbled around for days if you hadn't gotten me on that video. And that cat turned up to be really valuable in the end. I owe you one for that."

My first impression of oni kidnapping attempts made me worry about how safe it is here, and I didn't know what I could do about it. But I met a lot of nice youkai aboveground, so I'm feeling a lot more comfortable now. If I can help, I think I owe it to you, but I'd rather discuss the Isle first if that's okay."
