FUCKING TAIL GLAIVE

No goddamn warning on the ground, consecutive strikes in the air, deals more than an E-Tank of damage per hit (meaning literally instant death)...

Damn it, and the game was easy up to this point.

The real kicker? It deals more damage than being ground against the wall.

Also the dude who fought Nightmare in the movie must have been made of win - I don't know how you're supposed to get enough runway without being hit by a grav ball.

House of the Dead 2 (Wii)

This is legitimately the best light gun game ever. And the voice acting is Oscar-worthy.

Slowly replaying Ocarina of Time, form the Collector's Edition Gamecube disc.
A steel monotype run of Pokemon Platinum I've been wanting to do for nearly a year.
I'm also working on finishing up the last parts of a number of games including Final Fantasy X, Arc Rise Fantasia, and the third ending to Muramasa the Demon Blade.
I always seem to get sick of the game and stop playing right at the end.

Going through more routes in Shadow the Hedgehog.

When you take away the story-based aspects, it's not that bad of a game, I've found. Plus I'm finding the dark-side levels to be strangely satisfying to play right now.

I've been playing Persona 3 Portable for three weeks now. Why is it so fun?

Hopefully this go of Phantom Brave will go better than the last one. (It would probably help if I didn't Confine to everything at once at the start.)

EDIT: Ow my arms, but it was well worth it. 74 million improvement over my previous top on Catharsis - and that was with my left eyelid swollen!

Is it the fight with the three Venus Eagles?

If so, they should be weak to Pierce attacks. Of course this doesn't help if you already knew that. :ohdear:

It might help if you get Junpei to defend instead of attacking though, since he's weak to their Garu moves.

It's FES, not P3P. There's no Defend command (just Pass), and you can't ASSUME DIRECT CONTROL on allies, so Junpei's screwed either way.

It'd probably make for an easier fight to just leave him in the lobby. Yukari doesn't have mass heal yet, after all. Just having you and her eliminates them getting double turns, and then you can both knock them down with arrows.

Junpei's the only one doing attacks, my bow is horrible crap, Yukari's bow is horrible crap, I know Candeza, Yukari never shoots enemies because one of us is always dying, and her Tired ailment will never never ever ever seem to go away.
I'd have a lot easier time if enemy attacks didn't do a little over half my life in damage.
I'm trying again later today. Wish me luck.

Picked up Halo 3: ODST finally.

I only played through the first mission so far. I'm really sucking at it obviously as I don't know what kinds of enemies to expect and where. The Stamina, I'm not sure if it'll be better or worse than the shield from other games. Seems worse right now though. Oh, and I picked Legendary for some reason, even though I did my first runs of H3 and Reach on lower difficulties.

Also picked up Catherine and Alice: Madness Returns, but haven't started them yet.

Starting up Digimon World 3 again. Though I'm not doing it just to play through the game this time, rather to help me set up my own rewrite of the game's story (call me crazy :V).
