I watched the Endurance Run of Deadly Premonition, and it's pretty much "Twin Peaks: The Video Game". And York is awesome.

Mixed feelings on AT2 so far. I'm enjoying it, but I cannot understand why they'd make such an intriguing battle system and then render most of its intricacies meaningless by making Songs so goddamn OP. I can't remember the last time a fight lasted longer than one turn. Hopefully things'll get tougher later on.

Also, from what I've seen the heroines both seem uninteresting (Cloche especially). Probably because I've watched too much anime. But then bizarrely I find the dives interesting, and this is coming from someone who was bored to tears by Persona's Social Links.

The music is god tier, but everyone knows that already.

Right now, I'm playing through Cooking Mama again to show my neighbors (I live in a dorm) just how fun it is.

Hamtaro: Ham-Hams Unite! This game has always been on my list of games to play, but I never could find it. It's probably the most adorable game ever.
All you do is run around, talk to hamsters, and get more cute animations to watch. But it's so much fun!

Trauma Center binge. Why is X-1 always insanely hard, I wonder? UtK1's Kyriaki was almost impossible if you didn't take advantage of slowdown (though SO's was tame in comparison to other X missions), UtK2 had the damn pupae (2,2,2,3,3,4) that threatened to tear down vitals even out of the body, NB's Cheir literally ate through a laser every time it took real damage...

Ops, Onyx, and Triti are all wimps.

Brachion and Pempti can go screw themselves and the terrorist cell they rode in on.

Aletheia!Nous is an absolute pain in the ass anywhere above Normal.

Sige and Paraskevi can both die in fires.

It's things like this that make me happy that Team had no real running battles like this (well, unless you count three waves of Rosalia attacks whenever you see a focus).

Solo Thief/Mage in Baldur's Gate 2.

Things that are problematic:
Golems
Stun
Confusion
Paralysis
Magic Resistance
Magic Immunity

Got the Amulet of Power, so vampires aren't OHGOD OHGOD OHGOD territory anymore; combined with the Robe of Vecna virtually all spells are instacast. Even pickpocketed a Ring of Gaxx off of Kangaxx, most notably because a BLOODY THIEF/MAGE CAN'T KILL DEMILICH KANGAXX. He regenerates faster than I can deal two damage a poke with the +4 Scimitar from the first level of Watcher's Keep. Bastard.

About to head over to Spellhold now. Still need around another million exp before HLAs kick in. I'm starting to think that Fighter/Thief/Mage might actually be the way to go for a solo run, three-way split or no.

Star Ocean: The Last Hope - amazing game
Golden Sun: Dark Dawn: - also an amazing game
Ninja Gaiden Black - Very Hard run, it's unforgiving (I hate Alma so much)
Ninja Gaiden II - ~~easier than the first, but that's not saying a lot~~
scratch that, after playing Ninja Gaiden II on a harder difficulty, I realized that it isnt easier, in fact its
harder, and that IS saying alot.

Games I spend playing for the last month:

Demon's Souls.
One of the best rpg's I have ever played.
I am on my second playthrough right now, funny thing is that each time you finish it, it gets harder and harder.
The first time by about 40% which means the easiest enemies can kill you in two hits.
It makes it quite challenging seeing how it was an already difficult game (that is until you figure out how to roll effectively).

Minecraft.
Boring when playing alone but very fun when playing online with your friends.
Altough it can be quite tedious and boring sometimes.

Oh and I spend the last year rotting away playing Dwarf Fortress.
Check it out if you dare.

And right now I am going to buy Red Dead Redemption!

Finally finished AT2 (got the 3rd Reyvateil ending). Overall I enjoyed it, primarily because of the battle system but also, strangely, due to the Cosmospheres. Atlus could learn a thing or two from them about how to make dealing with characters' problems actually interesting.

Also, no Raki glitch in the PAL version means I'm free to power her up until I can get some decent battles going, which is neat.

Aside from that, also been playing Deathsmiles and Marvel v Capcom 3. Spent more time with Deathsmiles because ~~I suck at MvC3~~ I'm having more fun with it.

Downloaded Pac Man Championship Edition DX off the Xbox Live Marketplace since it's half off this week for Xbox Live Gold members.

This game is awesome. Not doing very good as I obviously don't have the stage patterns down, but it's fun anyway. I've mostly been focusing on the 5 minute score attacks, but I'm going to work on the 10 minute score attacks and time trials as well.

Started Mass Effect 2. I'm not entirely sure, buuuuuuut I think the point of the game is to get into Jack's pants. And to try to instigate a threeway between her, the Shepherd, and Ashley (when/if she comes back).

Replaying Dead Space on Hard mode. Enemies take anywhere between 3 and 9874938 to remove a limb. Meanwhile, the companies that make ammunition are putting the majority of their kids through college because of me.

Also started Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts. The expansion to a truly underrated game, you get to play as an Axis armored division. A rare occurrence indeed. Aaaaaaand a counterattack from the British 30th armored just reduced my tanks to ashes. Yay.

I have no idea why I avoided this forum until now...

Well, foremost on the list of games taking my free time away is Tactics Ogre PSP. TO has always been an adicting game... Also I've been playing my own little edit of Phantasy Star 4, testing to see if making daggers, shields, and slashers stronger would break the game, and also letting Gryz use daggers, Hahn and Kyra use more types of shields, and forbidding Rune and Raja from using shields. Then there's my own edit of Shining Force II that I've had sitting around for about five months that I've not done anything about...

And finally my LP of Might and Magic VI that I've managed to not record anything for in two weeks and barely upload anything for in the same amount of time (I have one more video in reserve before I need to record more).

That's been my gaming life, though I've been lazy even about gaming, too. I like the idea of dedicating more time to writing, but gaming shouldn't take a backseat, should it?
