I don't know where old MotK went, so I'm happy that I copied and pasted this way back when: http://www.scorehero.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1393043#1393043

The old MotK is taken down, it's offline, everything in it is gone

Thanks again guys, I did as instructed, though the divx encoding doesn't work for me (says error -2.. whatever that means), so I settled for another kind which seems to be working fine.
Moogy:
official guide to making touhou captures not look like total shit on youtube:

1. capture lossless @ 60fps w/ fraps (don't think it uses uncompressed rgb, proprietary codec iirc)
2. make avisynth script that A) appends all resultant videos to each other B) upscales to 960x720* C) drops half of the frames, as youtube doesn't accept 720p60fps and flash's overhead would make it pointless for most users anyway
3. use x264 cli to encode @ decent bitrate
4. upload to youtube and hope it doesn't rape it too much

*previously youtube only accepted 1280x720 for its "HD" format, but i hear you can upload 960x720 as well now. if you encounter problems with getting youtube's "HD" encode, pillarbox to 1280x720 as well

if you don't know how to make avisynth scripts and use x264 cli, i suggest google
