> Return to Eientei and drop off our basin and toothbrush in our room.

>"Sure thing!" says Meiling, as you depart.
>You return to Eientei, going east around the lake and passing by the cabin near the eastern lakeshore. The Forest of Magic and Bamboo Forest are both still quiet and unremarkable.
>You walk through the front halls of Eientei, and through the courtyard, where Kaguya is observing a group of rabbits playing a game of domino.
>You return to your room, and return your Basin and Toothbrush back to their proper place.
>You are in your room. It is a simple room, you don't usually spend much time here. Three of the walls are unadorned paper panels, while the southern wall is solid wood. You suppose you could hang things from them, but never really had the opportunity to do so. And you don't think they would go unstolen, to be honest. Your bed is a simple futon with a thick comforter. Next to it is nightstand with small personal effects. Against the eastern wall is a dresser, filled with your extra clothes. Obvious exits are North.

>You return to the courtyard, and inform Kaguya of your successful completion of her requests. She reaches out and pats you on the head. "Thank you, Reisen."

> Huggle Kaguya

>You give Kaguya a hug. She returns the gesture and says, "Aren't you affectionate today?"

>Go bug eirin for cash

>You then go to visit Eirin in her office and ask her about some spending money. She looks up from her work, and says, "Hmmm. I suppose I could give you a little something if you would deliver a package to Hina for me."

>"She lives on the slopes of Youkai Mountain, on the eastern part of the forest along the road. You shouldn't have any trouble finding her home. As for your reward..."
>Eirin opens one of the drawers in her desk, and produces a glass paperweight with a silver snake inside it. "You should be able to get something good for this."

> "Also, where's this package?"

>"If you like," says Eirin, "Or trade it as you please. It's well made, I think you should get a fair exchange."
>"Give me a moment to prepare it," she says as she stands up from the desk and walks to the back of the office.

> Accept the paperweight from Eirin

>You obtain: Snake Paperweight.
>Snake Paperweight
>This is a solid glass paperweight that has a silver figure of a garden snake inside. The silver reflects light attractively when you catch it at the right angle.
>Eirin hands you a narrow package wrapped in brown paper.
>You obtain: Hina's Package.
>"It's a little delicate. So do try not to roughhouse too much on the way to deliver it."
>Kaguya has been out there awhile. The multiple layers of robes she has on must be toasty indeed.

>You consider making goodnice with the faeries, but decide they may be up to something.
>You make your way toward them as stealthily as you can, and see that they seem to be having a debate. In faerie terms, as far as you know, this means a lot of them are yelling at each other and throwing in a lot of large philosophical terms that they are misusing terrible while others shout encouragement. You imagine they're having a whole lot of fun.

>You listen in, and you're pretty sure they don't know what they're arguing about. You hear them saying things like "Base six pair of pants", "nihilistic number theory" and "hereditary calculus" and decide that they are wholly full of shit.
>You don't see Cirno or Daiyousei, the two faeries you know, among the crowd and they don't seem to be coming up in the conversation.
