>Don't worry about it yet. Come back later when you have cool adventure stuff.
>Thank Rinnosuke for the offer but respectfully decline, finding yourself rather...fond of your spellcards.

>"I understand," says Rinnosuke. "It is my priciest item, I do not expect it to go anywhere in the near future."

> Examine the Dusty Ring in detail in case it is The One Ring. Give it a rub too.

>You do not notice anything else of note about it. It seems to be a boring old bronze ring. You rub it, and get a little dust on your fingers.

>You consider going to Scarlet Devil Mansion, but change your mind. It's kinda a long walk, anyways.
>What continuity?
>You decide to head for the much closer human town, and go north.
>You arrive at human town! The snow here has been churned up by the amount of traffic you would expect from here. Being cold, though, few people seem to be out at the moment. You can see Keine's school to the nouth, and a tavern to the west. To the south there is an alleyway between two houses. A the road continues north to the other side of town, and another goes east toward a shrine in the distance. Obvious exits are NorthA, NorthB, SouthA, SouthB, East, and West.
>There are currently no plans to release a Turkish Version of Reisen Quest. Please accept our apologies.

> If this fails, head for the tavern.

>You head for the tavern.
>The tavern is a fair familiar place, you've come here often after finishing up am errand for Eirin to take a load off your feet and have something to eat. A long bar runs along the side of the room; Tenshi stands behind it as usual. Booths line the walls; you note that Nitori is having a meal in one of them. The middle of the floor is lined with round tables; a few assorted humans are gathered at one, engaged in a game of dominos. Being as early as it is, the tavern really serves as more of a restaurant right now.

>declare Letty more successful in romance than whats-his-name
>contemplate drinking habits

>You make this declaration.
>You are a social drinker, favoring overly sweet mixed cocktails. There's been times when it's been tempting to lose yourself in drink, but Eirin has told you on no uncertain terms that if you came home drunk, she'd pitch you out of Eientei.

>"Murasa's all over the place," says Tenshi. "But since Reimu and Byakuren fell out, she tends to keep close to Byakuren. Though she gets sent out on jobs and stuff sometimes."
>"Byakuren's on the north side of town, in a tent they use until they can get their temple built. You can't miss it, it's in the middle of a big field."
>"Sure, knock yourself out," says Tenshi.
>You find a nice spot where you think people will be able to hear you well, and sing a song!
>No one throws anything at you, which is the first first good sign. You don't hear any angry muttering either. However, no one seems especially impressed. There's a few people who don't look at you, but you don't think that's related to your performance. Ending with a gunwink doesn't work as well as you would have hoped. You're really going to have to learn how to time that thing.

>You agree to help haul sheets of metal with Nitori. "Okay," she says. "Just stop by my warehouse on the mountain whenever you're ready."
>You leave the tavern, and head north. You pass through the northern part of town, where you see a shop named Shou's Clothes, and a few gathered houses. You head further north.
>You arrive in at the outskirts of town. To the North, you can see empty, snowy farmland. There are a few nondescript houses here and a well. On the western side of the road is an empty field, with quite a few footprints in the snow. A large tent has been pitched in the middle of it, and the sign in front that says, "Spiritual Advice." Obvious exits are north, south, and west.

> Examine tent
> Enter tent
> Examine interior of the tent

>The tent is has a square-shaped base, with a low pyramid-shaped roof. It seems to be made of waterproofed dun-colored fabric. It doesn't seem to be especially large.
>You go west and enter the tent.
>The tent is not very large, about a hundred square feet at most. The smell of incense hangs in the air; opposite of the entryway is a low table with a little clay statue of a fat smiling Buddha, flanked by two pieces of white silk. But you can barely see this with Byakuren in the way. You used heard that she was pretty tall, but you've yet to meet a person who can sit on the ground and still be eye to eye with you. A couple of small braziers give light to the tent. Obvious exits are East.
>Byakuren nods politely to you. "Welcome. You are from Eientei, are you not?"

>examine self
>skills
>disco aptitude

>You are wearing your suit coat, dress, and doubled up stockings. You are in fine condition. Your shoes are a little dirty.
>Your skills are:
>Gun-having
>You are skilled with the operation and maintenance of many kinds of firearms, a legacy of your old life.
>Wave Manipulation
>You can innately manipulate various of light and sound, creating some nasty illusions. Doing this too often gives you a crippling headache. Eirin has warned you not to abuse this ability.
>Athletistics
>You are in excellent physical condition, and can perform well in physical activities, and do reasonably well in specialized activities that you have had little practice in.
>First Aiding
>Eirin has taught you a good deal about first aid. You effectively give on the field treatment to wounds, and care for them in the long term
>Pharmocologistics
>You have some basic knowledge in the effects of common herbs and chemicals on the body of the average person. Non-average people tend to confound you.
>Astronomics
>You are well versed in the various aspects and objects of the night sky.
>Facility Maintenizing
>You can clean like a sumbitch.
>Spellcardcrafting.
>You have very modest skill in making spellcards. It takes you a great deal of time to do so.
>Crosswords
>You love these things.
>Your disco aptitude is low enough to get you arrested for parking on the dance floor.

> Say Hi to Byakuren

> Ask what kind of business she does in this tent
> Ask about the current situation of all of the members of the Palanquin crew

>"I offer my assistance to people who wish to understand the ninefold path and along their path to enlightenment," says Byakuren. "As well, I suppose I have a secondary task of taking offerings and making certain that they do not get stolen."
>"Well, you know about Murasa, already. Narzin is currently minding the clinic we run in the Ancient City. Shou runs a clothing store, I'm certain you passed by it. Much of our revenue comes from the money she makes there. As for Ichirin, I am not sure where she's at today."
