Patchy Quest Again: A Z-Machine Adventure
« on: December 20, 2009, 04:13:00 AM »
>You are Patchouli, Gensokyo's greatest freeloader! You are on a mission to banish humidity from your library! It is unseasonably hot for late fall; the Aki Sisters have been complaining about the season being recalcitrant. Wriggle had taken up burglary and got in trouble with the Moriya Shrine, but you have sorted that out. The Prismrivers have broken up, you've vowed to un-upbreak them! Cirno has taken up Hip Hop at Eientei and failing terribly with Lunasa. Merlin is playing background music at Shou's Clothing store, and hates every moment of it. Kaguya has asked you to provide a better cooling method for Eientei than Cirno hanging around; you designed such a method, but now need to get the parts and the power source. Byakuren and her followers are trying to build a temple, you have offered to help and gave them a book on Civil Engineering! Nitori has concluded the sun is going awry, you've been roped into helping deal with this; you are not sure if you want to do the actual investigating so you roped Aya into it! You have begun making a tentative peace with Sakuya! You won a danmaku battle with Utsuho! You hooked Satori up with a personal concert! Keine was hanging around underground, looking for a historical anomaly! You found the history-erased remanents of the last Z-Machine Protagonist, and are trying to help him out! This has led you to Hakugyokurou, and now you need to talk to Yukari! You have just gotten your terrible embarrassing tattoo that no one can ever know about removed by Yuugi. You've vowed to reclaim Non-Directional Laser from Marisa.
>You have a terribly embarrassing tattoo that no one can know about, and no idea how to get rid of it. Koakuma is on holiday, as stipulated in her contract. Aya has been arrested.  You have had a strange thing for hot sauces of all kinds. You've been gathering Secret Items for a robed woman in the alley in human town.  Reimu beat you up for breaking into Keine's school, and took a few of your spellcards. You have been Mukyuing shamelessly, and you think people are starting to talk.

>We got out tattoo THERE!? (my inner thighs sympathize...in PAIN!)
>At any rate, check to see if it's gone.

>What were you thinking?
>You remove the blindfold and check yourself. Your thigh is an angry red color, but it is completely tattoo free.

> Make sure we haven't been robbed.
> Look at area and observe in great detail.

>You don't seem to have been robbed. Not that oni are much for burgling.
>It is red and sore. But, this is leagues better than what was once there.
>"Here you go," says Yuugi, as she hands you a white towel. "Zogging thing came right out, didn't it?"
>The towel you immediately note, has a large, colorful rainbow on it, with the words "MEW-Q" writting on it in florid cursive lettering. May it never bother you again.
>You obtain: Terribly Embarrassing Towel.

>Free at last!
>You give Yuugi your thanks. "Don't mention it." she says. Then she gives you a look. "Or else."
>"Oh, I got one of those secret jiggers," says Yuugi. "And wheels? I think Tenshi has a wagon for booze deliveries."

>There are no current plans for a Turkish release of Patchy Quest. Please accept our apologies.
>"Oni secret," says Yuugi, as she puts the basin away.

>Belay this. We might be able to sell this towel for profits! ECONOMIC ONES!

>Well, you've not burned it yet. But would you really think it wise to introduce it into any sort of market system?

>Man...that towel ignited fast. How much alcohol was infused into it?

> Run back to SDM and flash Meiling!

>"Oh sure, she's good at all kinds of things."
>"Spellcards, furniture, artworks, pretty clothes, good food. The usual really." says Yuugi.
