Ah, I was wondering when you were going to figure it out. You should've been capable of that for a while. Anyway, it seems your progression is mostly stable, though what you told me does not give me the most accurate picture...

Anyway, since Ran is currently occupied, would you mind running a special errand for me? It is quite important and I would prefer you get it done sooner than later. I need you to go to the Human Village and procure the following items:
-Butter
-Milk
-Eggs
-Human child*
-Bean paste
-Flour
-Sugar

If money's an issue, let Chen know and ask her to tell me. (or ask me yourself, it doesn't matter.)
