> You clear the table.
> Back in the kitchen, Suika appears to be doing fine on her own.  She's putting the remaining food in containers.
> In the living room, Akyuu is still sitting at the table and watching the rain fall outside.  The thunder has gotten way more intense, now.

> You reassure Akyuu that it'll be okay.  You've faced danmaku worse than this, after all.  She just nods and keeps staring outside.  You'll need a futon and a change of clothes for her, if she's going to stay the night...
> If you were to go Underground now, you'd probably have to deal with the rain until you got to the bridge.  The hole leading down there goes straight down, after all.
> You hear a deafening boom and then a crack, and all the lights go out.  Akyuu squeaks in surprise.  You hear Suika laughing from the kitchen.

>"Suika! Candles!"

> She was always rather hammy.
> "I'm on it!" you hear Suika call out.  The next things you hear are the scurrying of dozens of little footsteps and the chattering of little Suika voices.  Drawers open and shut, and finally you see a warm glow of light from the kitchen.  A parade of mini Suikas are marching out of the kitchen and into the gloom, holding candles and matches in their tiny arms.  Akyuu giggles as one of them clambers over her robes.

> You get to work aiding the mini-Suikas.
> One of the mini-Suikas pipes up.  "You should ask her to make some fist-proof lightbulbs while you're at it!"

>Listen to the rain to see how hard it's coming down, then double-check all doors and windows. Can't be too careful! Don't forget a candle for vision purposes. After all, we can't see very well in darkness
>Look for extra futons and a change of clothes for Akyuu while we're up.

> It's raining so loudly that it's a miracle you're able to hear yourself think.  You go around with a candle, making sure all the doors and windows are secure.  Suika forgot to close the one in the kitchen, looks like, so you take care of that.
> You venture into your room in search of things for Akyuu.  The shrine is now lit with the comforting golden glow of candles that takes you back to a time without electricity.  You briefly see Suika pass through another room setting up candles.  You get the feeling she doesn't even need the candles to see, but because you don't have a 60 foot see-in-the-dark vision radius can't see, she's helping out anyway.
> You're just carrying out a futon for Akyuu when you feel something drop on your head.

>"I'm trying to have guests over here, Yukari."
>Pocket the glove. We'll toss it to the faeries later.

> Obtained: Silk Glove x1
     > A soft silk glove with lace on the cuff, clearly a glove of wealth and taste.  Belongs to Yakumo Yukari.
> This shall be a suitable offering for the faeries, and perhaps an incentive for them to start taking their jobs seriously.
> "Aww, you're no fun, Reimu."  It's clearly Yukari's voice.  A couple of mini-Suikas hear her and start chattering with delight.

>Consider Yukari.

> Yakumo Yukari, long ago, was one of the people who had a hand in creating the Great Boundary.  She hibernates in the winter and sometimes shows up at your house to drink your tea.  As a rule of thumb, in the event that you require her assistance she will only take a passive role in helping you.  The only exception to this was the Full Moon incident years and years ago.  She's a bit of a nuisance, but at least she doesn't cause any trouble.  You'd be loathe to solve any incident she causes.

> At least it's a glove of quality and taste, not wealth and taste. Then we'd be in trouble.

> Maybe if it were made of solid gold, but then we'd have a completely different problem on our hands
