It seems that I can now spawn the Ender Dragon at will! This means we can repopulate the End without needing to restart the server! Or if you're feeling dangerous, multiple Dragons!

Sign me up for a Solo Triple Dragon Swords-only attack! :getdown: I won't use mods for this one either.

We killed 3 dragons in succession and got quite a few levels (albeit uneven - some got 50 while others had over 100 combined)...and went to enchant, only to get a Lv49 dud diamond sword with just Knockback II (gah I had an Lv43 with that and Bane V), while others were much more lucky.

Well, I have good news for now.

Stuffman and I will confer to see if we'll still need the End Reset plugin. I'm sure you guys would prefer for the Dragon to respawn when we're both absent.

Yes, the Dragon will leave an egg and a portal home when defeated. I've already destroyed many of such portals, so people don't accidentally leave while fighting. I'll probably go about resetting the End properly here and there to replenish the End Stone and the Crystals.

Also, Silk Touch kicks ass! I only wish I had enough for a diamond pick when it came time for my enchantments. Oh well. There's always next time. :3

Afterthought EDIT- I wonder if Silk Touch works on those Crystals....  :3

Ender Crystals are entities, not blocks, so I take it Silk Touch won't work on them.

Silk Touch is an enchantment that allows mined blocks to drop themselves. Meaning, you can get certain blocks that cannot be normally obtained: Diamond ore, Coal ore, Redstone ore, Grass, Mycelium, etc. You can even mine up glass blocks without them being destroyed!

Yeah, save the high-level enchants for the swords and pickaxes. Though enchanting shovels and axes are good too, I usually use Lv <=10 on those.

I assume that is an Efficency 4 pickaxe you're talking about? It's not as confusing if you just state the enchantment name. :V

As for me, I'm perfectly fine on pickaxes for a while. Plenty of Unbreakable 3/Efficiency 3 picks in my arsenal.

I did mean Efficiency 4 pick axe, but called it afl-f4 because when you use 49 levels (twice) and get just Efficiency 4 (twice) it's kinda tempting to rage quit and break everything (maybe do this one twice too). Also if you figured it out then it's obviously not that confusing  :3

You think that's bad? Well I made a level 50 enchant (it's pretty hard to get randomly), and all I got was Unbreaking 3. I don't even need durability with the amount of diamonds I have stuffed in my chests. To add insult to injury, leveling in single player is pretty hard and time-consuming with only one enderdragon in the End. And yes, this was from the 100 levels I got after killing it.

Efficiency 3 on a diamond pickaxe is pretty damn nice, actually. It digs faster than a shovel (in fact, it's almost creative mode fast in most cases, meaning dirt and gravel breaks instantly) and chops trees as fast as an axe. I got it while making a level 20 or something enchantment on a diamond pick. I hate the random number generator in this game.

Sorry, 1.0 disabled that. And yet we can pick up silverfish blocks, as if Notch and Jeb say that those are less of a problem than player-made grinders or Nether ice.

Even if we could have those we'd likely have mob arenas for XP farming instead.

In other news, the PTM PVP Arena (which I dub the Undefinable Fragging Object, or UFO) is almost done, north of W2 spawn. Just some more terraforming, getting Strafe to do some WE and WG stuff (inc. its own spawnpoint), and then later making a proper path are left!
