London MCM Expo
« on: October 22, 2011, 04:16:38 PM »
So next weekend is the London (UK) MCM Expo, taking place at ExCeL. Never been to one of these things before but I'm eyeing it up since there's going to be at least some anime stuff there.

Anyone else thinking of going? Alternatively, anyone else been before and know whether it's worth the time?

I've never been to the London one; I went to one of the mid-land ones, but that was a year ago.

I'd go if I weren't doing Fushicon (18th Nov), since money says 'no way you can do two events in a couple of weeks.
A lot of people go, and, to be fair, I have a balanced amount of friends saying 'they loved it' and 'there was nothing to do after two laps.'

I'd say go for the experience and see what you think afterwards...

Thanks for the input! I'll probably give it a go, since it's been a while since I visited London and if I get bored I can always look around someplace else. The experience would be useful anyway, because there's a more anime-focused event in Feb 2012 that I'll likely want to check out as well.
