>Playing The Song That Might Play When You Ship Mokou x Kaguya
>On days like these when skies are blue and fields are green, I look around and think about what might have been, and then I hear heated music float around my head, as I recall the many things we left unsaid.
Its on days like these that I remember, fighting to the death all of the time, while your emotions played games with mine.
On days like these I wonder what became of you, maybe today you're fighting with someone new.
I'd like to think you're walking by those bamboo trees, remembering the hate we knew on days like these.
Its on days like these that I remember, fighting to the death all of the time, while your emotions played games with mine.
On days like these I wonder what became of you, maybe today you're fighting with someone new.
You expected an undertale reference? Too bad, it was Matt Monroe!
>Check to see if our flames still work.

>Ah, nothing like the good ol' flamegazing ritual in the morning, always works to get the apathy out of the system.
Still lying down, you pulled out a hand and called upon your powers, setting fire to it. Despite the fact that the form remains entirely pristine in the inferno, your body knows better from the stabbing pain that its constantly peeling away and regenerating before the destruction is visible. Little do others know, your flames do you as much harm as they do to others, as lacking in innate magic capability yourself due to being human and all, tributing your body as a medium for spellcasting has proven to be most effective.
>That said and all, setting stuff on fire is actually the most basic of all magics, as it merely requires an initial short burst of Mana to vaporize the surface of whatever your targetting to provide the sufficient fuel, then add a tinge of heat and you have a flame. But as every youkai basically have more than enough Mana than humans to shield themselves from this kind of direct influence, using yourself as fuel is basically the best because you get to vaporize it in any way you want unopposed to give it flexbility, and once it gets going, no amount of magic will save them from being incinerated to death.
>Funnily enough though, you initially thought you would eventually get 'used' to the pain and be able to dish out more hurt. However, that never happened, and a recent trip to the youkai bookstore revealed there's something in humans called 'nerves' that sense pain, and intense stimulations will kill these 'nerves' and remove the sensation of pain altogether. But since you regenrate everything from the ground up, it kind of explains how you would still pass out if you try to make fires too often.
>Feeling much more awake now, you cut off the flames, what would you do now?
