The scan is running as we speak (or type, as it were). So far, nothing yet, but I'll keep you posted.
EDIT: I can't leave my computer alone, because if I let it idle it actually goes into sleep mode after a bit. Getting it out of that would, I'm guessing, be just as bad as restarting. Thus, I'm sitting here agitating the mouse every now and again.
2nd EDIT: I can't handle antivirus software for the life of me. Scan just ended because it's a QUICK SCAN. Doing a FULL SCAN now, because I'm paranoid and the situation calls for it. However, the Quick Scan turned up no malware, so I'm a bit happy about that . . . but I'm not going to be satisfied until all 200-or-so-gigs of my hard drive have been scrutinized. Again, I'll keep you posted.

I honestly didn't know what sage was.
I don't go around the internet often, barring the sites I know and enjoy.
And now this has happened and my computer may in fact be messed up, and here you people are yukking it up like no tomorrow. A few of you (thank you, Purvis, Moogy) have moved to help.
I am not a retard who doesn't know anything, I am not a joke to be laughed at, I am a REAL PERSON who is now having a REAL PROBLEM with their computer and who needs some HELP with it (and who has thankfully been getting some aid). Run Process Explorer (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896653.aspx) and screencap the list of processes running on your machine. And hurry--depending on your ISP, a worm could already have penetrated the heatsink barrier and infected the CPU.

There's one thing to not know what a sage is. It took me a while myself to learn what it basically means, and even until today I didn't know that:
A. It's pronounced Japanese style (thought it was an alternate meaning for the English word "sage)
B. Its exact meaning is to bump a thread without raising it to the top.
And now I know what they mean by auto-sage in Pooshlmer. That is ignorance. However, only an idiot couldn't tell that he was being trolled after a certain point. We're not bad people; if it were a serious problem we'd actually try to help. It's just that you were falling for it SO easily. You could have looked it up.
And BTW, thanks Tenshi for posting that Urban Dictionary article before it was deleted. I learned something myself today.

Well, here's a little piece of advice from a layman: it's only funny when it isn't you.
Put yourselves in my shoes: I didn't know what it was for, when I clicked the link I see that the IE notice bar drops down and says that my intraweb security settings' default is now that they are off and then it navigates to a page of 'internet explorer can't go there', and then when I ask what's going on everyone goes all alarmist on me.
Because of this sick joke, I ended up going to Microsoft for customer support, and am now running the most thorough virus scan of my LIFE.
I was worried that some of my life's work (I intend to go into game design, I might point out) was going to be lost forever because I might end up having to wipe my hard drive.
I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO LOSE EVERYTHING I HAD WORKED ON FOR THE PAST FEW YEARS.
You all may find this hilarious, but this little victim happens to be completely outraged at the proceedings -- heck, from what I'm reading here the only one who seemed to be helpful was actually stringing me along like the rest.
The only good thing coming out of this is that I'm tightening my internet security, but that's not enough to make me want to stay in this depraved den.

No. However, I wouldn't put it past anyone to post up some hilarious little command that causes your browser to do something weird with the security. Mainly because this is the internet and I am extremely paranoid.
