I'm keeping a log of my progress in Help Me Eirin FYI. I can make it to Reimu's second spell card without continuing on a good run. I still haven't managed Patchy without dying at least once, but she's getting to be slightly less of an issue. If I could learn Alice's first spell card I could possibly get through her without dying at all. Marisa's pretty straightforward, but it's hard to get through the whole fight without dying.

Alice's first? Isn't that the one where she summons dolls one at a time?

Anyway, I just managed to beat Patchy without dying for the first time ever and am entering Reimu with only one death. Inb4massivefailure?

I always feel faint when I first gaze upon the opponent in a non-shooter. I know that it's going to be an arduous task to defeat them.

However, I've crossed swords with the astral knight, put the angel of death upon herself, sealed the evil spirit, outsmarted the professor, resisted the youkai moe, made the devil abandon all hope, reduced the vampire to dust, killed the ghost of death, dehorned the oni, drove the Lunar princess to madness, passed the Yama's final judgment, brought down the sky goddess, put the celestial into the ground, made the yatagarasu eat crow, and crucified youkai jesus. You think I'm going to let a CATFISH stand in my way?!

For the curious, I made it to his third spell card before getting body slammed.

There you all go. Note that this was the first time reaching anything past Reimu's second spell card so I was facing the rest blind and had no idea her third spell card had become so holy shit.
