If we're going with my+SSkye's scoring system, we could probably take a bunch of people out of that list for Embodiments.

Actually, this should be an idea we should look into trying to implement.

I'll quote Drake here, so people can see.

-When you defeat an enemy, Idiot Energy is released (it does not fall)

-Collect IE to slowly add to your base point value [SA]

-If you don't collect IE for a while, it will build up and turn into an enemy
-----The enemy could actually be randomized, based upon people who can't make it in(!!!)
-----This would also ensure different shot patterns, which means less micromemorizing


-Kill an IE enemy for life/bomb pieces, plus the IE you missed [UFO]
-----1 star for a bomb, three for a life, means bombs are better in the long run [UFO]
-----How can we differentiate between life and bomb pieces?


-An IE enemy will return IE if it disappears.

-When you reach a maximum IE (the base point value at the time), you can raise base point value while grazing as well for a time [PCB]
-----I suppose an equal graze-point ratio

-Dying will make you lose a fraction of your IE (and thus decrease your base point value) [PCB]

-Bombing will as well, but it will also gather all IE on the screen.

-Grazing will fill up a multiplier, while the multiplier is at max grazing will collect points and power at max value, but not IE [SA]

-Collecting below POC will gradually devalue point items

-Going above POC will collect everything at max value



I just combined SSKye's idea with PCB, SA and UFO's scoring system in a simple system with only two peripherals (Graze multiplier and IE). Huzzah.

All in all, I fully support this.

What I would like is for the "random enemies" to possess pools that are determined by stages, so that the player have an idea of what to expect from them. The difficulty of the enemy (bullet patterns) will be determined by what stage it is, as usual. In short, high-level characters would only have a chance in appearing at later stages (6, EX, Phantasm). Of course, each pool could extend beyond one stage, for example, a specific enemy could appear in Stages 1 through 3.

I'm not sure how many Embodiments we could fit in one stage. At maximum I would say four, or else it would be too confusing.

On the subject of Last Words... Xan and MTG have kinda been asking me if they could get a place in the game somewhere, so... Yeah~

...Although I think MTG said something about MotK-tan and CPMC-tan getting in instead of him, but...

Ah, about me getting in the game was a joke ^^ (Though getting in would indeed be nice, ahahaha)

But more importantly, I'm serious about wanting MotK-tan and UGW-tan in the game, maybe even CPMC-tan.

Due to the STOP HELEPOLIS thing I encountered on Niconico; Drake suggested the following here using Puremrz shotsheet as default bullet sheet for all the regular danmaku. As seen in this thread.

A huge variety of bullets for like any spellcard. Custom bullets can always be added and drawn by the artists.

Edit: ofcourse we can still use the CtC bullets as well as they wouldn't cause a problem either.

How far would you have to stray from the ZUN sprites to have them considered different?  I can't imagine you'd have any huge variations in heart style bullets, so if you used the TH11 sprites as a  base..

That is the problem you know :V the hearts are ZUN's sprites. Either you need to draw them yourself to use or break the ZUN law and steal shamelessly ( like me ) all the sprites.

CtC sound effects are indeed bleh. But then again, same applies here =V either you can ignore the ZUN law and use the SFX ( though the sfx are imo too good to be replaced somehow ) 

Serious unprecedented affair here.

i don't really care either way, it's just that anything besides regular sounds/bullets feel..wrong.

i also don't think i could draw bullets because i can't make things look professional at all.
