I realize the natural inclination is for people to argue about this sort of thing, so I figured I might as well give people an arena in which to do it. This thread is for making argument for/against Kanako/Suwako/being an indecisive prick as are voted on in this thread. Please keep discussion out of that thread, and please keep voting out of this one.

On a "serious" note: I never got affected by Suwako nor her theme. It is probably the only extra boss in the windows touhou series that feels dull to me. Not because it is Suwako and her hat, but just because it is just. . . NOT impressing (music mainly). Thank god Nue showed up to be the clown of the extra, else Suwako was going to be there at the top all alone.

Suwako compared to Flandre, Mokou, Koishi, Yukari is just lol. Seriously, somebody teach her how to be an Extra boss.

I loved Kanako from the moment I read her wiki entry. A goddess who came to Gensokyo and wants only for humans and youkai to give praises by partying joyously, celebrating? More dieties should be like that.

There is nothing wrong with the hat, and in tribute to that I even made a spellcard for it. But it is not enough to impress the faithful Yasaka followers.

We seem to be here dealing between badass and moe factor. Obviously Suwako is more moe than Kanako. But Kanako is more badass. And let us not forget the original question Kilgamayan the yama asked:

"Which character is better at playing second fiddle to Sanae in the Moriya shrine"

Suwako is doing -nothing-. She only earns faith by poor people who feel sorry for getting her ass kicked. Kanako is the front line doing the "sales" as the conversation went between Marisa and Suwako.

And a frikken huge twisted ropes representing snakes with pillars are obviously more impressing than some moe hat. Look at Reimu for example. Her outfit alone means serious business. Why do you think Marisa braided a M on her apronskirt? Think about it.

If we play by my story as told in Origins of the Moriya trio:
Suwako is a noble soul who sacrificed herself for the greater good, while Kanako is the warrior who fought stubbornly for a weakling out of love.

In a way, I feel Suwako was more of a great figure than otherwise.

Then again, Suwako has that hat, the argument is just that...and that alone.

Fact, which we both have to agree to.

Only reason Suwako will win is because of the fanboys and girls worshipping her hat. Nobody even cares about Suwako herself. Strip off the hat and she becomes nothing. Strip off Kanako's twisted ropes, and she still has her gun pillars. Strip off those and you still have a godly body in glory.
