Goddammit is there any video editing program taht is anywhere close to audacity's level? Keepvid can't download youtube vids in any format Windows Movie Maker uses. Then I tired using a downloader program but I can't delete the video sound with WMM so it plays along with Guile's Theme. Then I tried converting the video file with a whole bunch of shit but nothing works AAARRGGG

Punch in the url of the Youtube video you want, use the drop-down to pick the appropriate file format (you can choose .mp3 out of it if all you're after is the audio track, or you can save the entire video, among other options) and then the audio and visual bitrate. The higher you set those to, the longer it'll take for the site to process and upload it to you, but it's worth it.

after that I gave up on the windows live products, I dont use any IM program and havented edited a video in years :(I run W7 Ultimate, and Windows Live stuff runs perfect for me. I talk on Messenger, I edit on Movie Maker, I type up stuff on Writer, all of that. No hitches. Literally ran an installer and haven't had a single problem since, unlike the old MS stuff.
(now thanks to raymoo, i may just start... not on IM software though. IRC is where its at)

I literally used it TODAY to create a video. Hell, I even used it for my entry. No crashing. No hitches. No problems. Final product quality looks just fine. I don't know why you're having the problems that you do, but I assure you that if you're going to complain about any of the Live software, Movie Maker really shouldn't be one of them.
