Inspired by this... Sadly I think video games lend themselves to particularly boring routes, but I figured I'd toss it up anyway. Still better than one idea I tried and rejected already for being super-long and going via the Japanese folklore article which is so very obvious. =P

It doesn't have to be 6 or less you know.  The idea is style points.  Either having a crazy convoluted chain that goes through bizzaro stuff, or showing how one completely unrelated thing is much closer to Touhou than you think.

Oh and creativity too.  So all you dorks using The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter are losing out hard on creativity.
