Just A small idea but I was thinking that stage 6 should end somwhat like PCB's. I.E. crazy survival card involving Rin.

That would be awesome. But what about IN style? When you don't have only 1, but 5 survival SCs? It's Rin. She deserves more time and SCs than just 1

Way, way, way back I mentioned that I'd like my last card to be a combo with Rin called Forgotten One "Rin Satsuki"...

I suppose it might work as a survival card~

I was also trying to think up a couple of card names based on Rin's apparent spellcard "signs", but the best I could come up with was Flower Sign "Forget-me-not"... So yeah.

The only details known about her spellcards are that one is "Flower Sign" and the other is "Wind Sign". But I guess I can always work with that somehow~

You should really not fit in survival cards too much in one boss. It seriously breaks the fun. Note that almost all major final bosses have one "survivalish" spellcard in their stock and Extra bosses have a real survival spell.

Yuyuko is the only one with a real survival spellcard, the rest have massive HP and long timer.

Actually, the original games have the same style: "Spellcard attack" covers the cutin. =S Here is a good example of Byakuren cutin animation from UFO http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h7embor1kB8&hd=1#t=2m04s ( I used her as an example to perfectionize the cutin )

Though ofcourse we can always modify it you know. Like making the "Spellcard attack!" more transparant or make the portrait appear in front of that ( though if you want to make it original it is like: BG -> Portrait -> Enemy -> Spellcard attack! -> Player )

Master opacity of the 'Border of idiots' and 'Spell card attack!!' needs to be changed making them more transparant. I will tackle that tommorow. Right now I am tired and hitting the pillows soon.

Also we should change all the graphics ( like I did with the border of idiots) that includes the "Spell Card attack!!" Either remaking it ourselves or naming it "Idiot spell attack!" or something. Afterall, I am just scripting it. Everything is replaceable for these kind of things.

Also note that the cutin script is very flexible. Like if the images are small than 512 and less then 256, they still can be used. Because you simply set boundaries for the image size and it is given directly to the script which auto-fits it on your screen. I'll later on show more examples of that.

...Y'know, now that I think about it we're probably going to need a sprite of Rin at some point, and possibly (just possibly) a spellcard cut-in for her too, if my final card will involve her.

If at all possible I'd want the cut-in for that card to be me and Rin in the Sekiha Love-Love Tenkyoken pose, buuuut I guess I'll just wait to see if such artwork is actually necessary or not.

...I should probably watch some videos/replays of final boss fights at some point to get an idea of what we're going for (because there's no way I can witness them first hand, ahah). It might give me a few ideas as well, so... Yeah.
