Just out of principle, if Ness wasn't there I'd have to heavily reconsider getting the game at all. I would probably get it anyway, but still.

Am I the only person here who's interested in the extra minigame modes they teased for the 3DS version? The "air hockey" game looks interesting.

I'm also surprised no one's mentioned the Classic/Adventure world map (or it could be for Events) and THE INTENSITY GAUGE. That'd be interesting, especially if there's a "wager" mode for versus matches.

I heard Viridi in the Palutena trailer. I really doubt she'd be playable, since she didn't even get a boss fight in Uprising, but as long as she's in it and as snarky as ever I'd be so happy. Also Hades. I was excited when Rosalina was announced, but Palutena rocketed up to buy ASAP status.

Palutena was pretty much "this is one of the only characters who could distract me from maining Rosalina."

Along with Shulk who's still heavily rumoured and part of one of the most longstanding leaks (which also included fucking Pac-Man, Villager, Palutena, Little Mac, Mega Man, and others that have been slowly proven right)

I don't like Melee for the same reasons tourneyjerks do like it. Mostly 'lel exploitan glitches and calling it hardcore strats'

New interesting thing i've noticed in the new smash: Ground bounces

Before spiking someone down into the stage would just make them faceplant, but now if you hit them hard enough they will bounce off the ground

So, while most of the characters get custom special moves like Mario having three different fireballs, Palutena can only equip four of her Powers.
Admittedly, it does make more sense than being able to carry Rocket Jump/Warp/Jump Glide/Angelic Missile/Super Speed/Lightweight/Celestial Fireworks/Heavenly Light/Explosive Flame/Counter/Reflect Barrier/AutoReticle all at the same time. :V
