> "I'm free on the weekends," Ran pipes up.  "Chen is homeschooled, so she could easily bring her study materials if she ever wanted to visit."
> "That's right, Ran patrols the border on weekdays.  Don't think of contacting her during that time," Yukari says as she tickles Lumia.  Lumia is laughing so hard she looks like she's about to cry.

> It's a huge, expansive field.  The four of you are floating down from the sky, so you get a clear view of your surroundings.  The grass here is surprisingly green; it looks like Kikuri didn't touch this area, but it might well be on its way.  At the edge of the field is a ring of trees, leading off into a forest that you don't think is the Forest of Magic.  In the distance, there are mountains.  Looking behind you, the only part of the surface you recognize in the distance is Youkai Mountain.  The sky itself is still darkened and covered with that purple fog.
> You tighten your grip on Yuugi's hand.  She returns the gesture and looks ahead, then up at the sky.  You follow her gaze and see Kikuri's shell high, high above all of you.  It looks like it's starting to crack.
> Suika is sitting on her gourd, nonchalantly extending her chains; this clinking noise is the only sound you hear, save for the wind rustling the grass and leafless branches of the trees.
> Konngara is staring at a petite figure floating down from the sky.  She's farther away from the four of you.

> You barely graze it.  Suika turns into mist the second before it touches her.  Yuugi and Konngara fly out of the way in opposite directions.  The lazer slams into the ground and causes a huge explosion.
> Konngara starts firing thousands of needle-like lazers.  "Then we make her come down!" she shouts as Yuugi declares a spellcard.  Spirals of purple danmaku go careening towards Kikuri, who in turn shoots off balls of fire.

> You fly straight up.  Good thing, too: Suika is literally spitting fire.
> You try to get a good look at Kikuri.  You see a young woman with long, brown hair, a robe-like dress of the same color.  There are also small white, feathery wings coming from both sides of her head.

Spell cards:

>  Green-eyed Monster
  > Bullets that actively chase the target and leave a trail.
> Shiro's Ashes
  > Aimed bubbles that leave a trail of flowers.  They disappear when they turn red.
> Large Box and Small Box
  > Summons a mirror of yourself to shoot bullets alongside you.  If the mirror is hit, she shoots more bullets.
> Midnight Anathema Ritual
  > A stream of nails that send out more bullets that scatter around.
