So, my opinion on using Satori: only as a last resort. The only reason that we have to get her to try to talk to Kikuri is because if Kikuri is pacified, Okuu will be let go. Other than that, she has no reason to go up, since she's safe in the Palace and has her sister, pets, and Reimu with her. She doesn't isolate herself in the Palace because she's forced to: it's a choice she made on her own.
Plus, we don't have any suitable babysitters for Reimu: Mokou would probably not be very cool with housesitting underground, when the village might be attacked while Satori tries to confront Kikuri, Yuugi is busy with the "terrorists", and even then, Yuugi would want to be on the front lines with Parsee rather than taking care of Reimu. Sanae and Kogasa might be suitable, but that'll just cause logistical nightmares.
... Really, probably the best choice for babysitting duty is Parsee herself, and that's kind of a no go.
In short, we need to either be desperate, get evidence, or find a compelling reason for Satori to get involved, and we'll also need to arrange trustworthy protection for Reimu and Koishi.
Anyways, enough about that, we found out something very important, thanks to Konngara: it's very likely that the only person Kikuri actively attacked is Reimu. Judging by the fact that Kikuri didn't do any follow up attacks on anybody except for Reimu, despite her amazing sight (as told by Konngara), and the fact that Kikuri doesn't really seem to be self aware, she's probably retaliating solely based on physical stimuli. So, so long as we don't touch her with anything, we should be fine. It's not too terribly helpful yet, but it opens up options such as trying to get close to detect magical auras.
