Yes, it's true that supports are underappreciated in dots, but that also applies to pretty much every game out there.
And I can understand how you feel.
Like when I used to play RO.
Keep the emp on full HP after the guild leaks about 6 times in WoE.
Some Stalker got past the defence in the last ten minutes.
I'm yelling for help, since a solo FS priest can't do much.
All guildmates ignore me because they're busy doing their own thing.
Emp dies after about 5 minutes of back and forth with me and the stalker.
"WHAT THE FUCK WHY AREN'T YOU HEALING THE EMP YOU'RE THE WORST FUCKING PRIEST EVER"
But still, it's expected with the role of support.
You are the most important class.
If you do well, then than- I'mma let you finish but the SinX was the best.
If you don't do well, rage mode on.
Also, I'm tired and this part of the post is probably missing the point.

I'm just wondering that because it's DotS is a team game and I don't really care who gets the kill as long as I know contributed to it and our team plays well but with the tournament relying on individual scores in a team game, don't you think people will be a bit more of a lone wolf?

But in the tournament, the number of points you can get as an individual is 1.
The number of points you can get through your team is 4.
I'd much rather collect team points than throw the game away to keep my 1.

Again you're making up stuff. If you haven't realized, you school us in a lot of the post-game discussions hurr and we regularly appreciate your help. You just have to stop expecting people to thank you every single time since that's just irrational and can be detrimental to performance (I tend to think Sodium, being an awesome bro, has a huge casualty rate from typing).

Why can't we all just blame Dormio for everything and get on with the games! (I DON'T CARE IF ITS UNFAIR FOR DORMIO! IT'S MORE FAIR FOR EVERYONE ELSE).

This is quite true. Supports are incredibly valuable in games even if people don't appreciate them as much. This is why I like NotD:AM and SWAT:AM on WC3 :V support oriented classes are really valuable there imo. In fact every class is equally valuable since NotD:AM tends to be one of the most polished maps in WC3.

I wouldn't think so on the cancel, because you can still cast spells during ethereal.
Same applies to buff/debuffs because spells still affect you in ethereal.
Guess someone should test this out sometime.

Is a boat really necessary on HJ Koishi? You already get free 85% evasion and Nice Boat crits :V the item that's really necessary imo is an IIW so you can kill everything and everyone around you quickly and brutally in sub mode.
