Welcome to Baity's Trial of Idiot Maiden Inheritance!
Where your dreams might come true!
Right, I spent a few weeks planning things out; I'm not done yet but I can work things out as I go along. The challenge(s) will be explained as they come up. Flavor will come as I feel like it; I generally can't write out copious amounts of flavor at any one point unless it's one-shot material. That being said:
Only one person at most will survive this ordeal and claim the title of Idiot Maiden.Prize(s):
- My IM Title (yes, I've chosen to put this up just because)
- IP for Honorable Mentions throughout this period
And to answer a predictable question, this "IM Challenge" probably requires anywhere from 5 minutes to 1 hour of your time every day, depending on how fast this progresses.
Here's a general rules list for you people. If you (somehow) break the game in any way, I'll amend this list and give a notification by post.
- This challenge is open to everyone; sign ups are "free".
A hard cap maximum of 16 participants contestants will be included, with Idiot Princesses (IPs) having priority.- A minimum of 8 will be accepted. If this number is not reached after a certain imaginary point (read: on my whim) this challenge will be botched.
- IPs and only IPs have the upperhand in this challenge after sign ups.
- Idiot Deities (IDs) or any person who does not wish to or cannot claim the title can appoint another person as Idiot Maiden (IM), however this person must be an IP and is participating (or rather, was) in the current contest. Provided they win of course.
Name changing is forbidden.- PMing other contestants is allowed. In fact, I encourage it for everything except attacking them.
- Though, most if not all of the people will be using IRC to communicate I believe; this is acceptable as well.
If you wish to ask questions without the others knowing, you can only contact me IRC. Not just that, but you can only ask me questions in a specific (or private) channel. Do note that I'm not on #t-m, and won't be for the duration of this challenge. Role PMs are the exception.- Attacking your opponent through almost any means possible (this includes trolling, flaming, taunting, and... everything else really) is allowed, however it must be kept in this thread. The one exception is... "Moderator Shenanigans". Don't use your (or suggest asking other people to use their) mod powers to go changing peoples' names, avatars and the like. This rule will no longer be in effect from the moment I lose IM which should be immediately after I appoint somebody to take my place.
- And lastly no video camera, camera, microphone, webcam, etc. is required; this challenge can be done by even me (who is severely limited in equipment) and my university proxy connection.
Any rule broken will be rewarded with an instant
Extermination, Idiot Maiden Style disqualification.
You might have also noted that I put up a fair amount up with regard to communication. You'll understand why soon enough.
