Interestingly enough i thought of my character's female version a long long time ago.  I've been carrying Kojiro with me ever since the Playstation era (like.....8-10 years? ._. i forget) and at some point i did see Ranma. Kojiro = male. Kajira = female.  I really got the idea from one time i was playing Disgaea and i wanted to be a samurai...but they were female only and i thought of a female name version and came up with Kajira. (btw i learned the skills i wanted as a samurai and returned to a male warrior with those skills intact.

Anyway i already had a female version of myself thought of....but dam MTG i never woulda thought i'd actually possibly USE it.....Its such a random obscure idea i had to make a female version that i find it laughable it was invoked
My friend at Deviant Art (~witch-girl-pilar is her name i met and became friend's with her since we both really liked the Musashi games and I was readin her Musashi fanfic. pretty good ^_^ hehe) drew up these a few years back to give you guys an idea of how she looks

I see that some of us dont' like this idea at all. But that's highly expected.
I se the joke in it...since like all the chars are female, make it a running gag to make us female too. Doesn't look like its gonna be very well liked though ^^;

I can go for or against this idea....I dont' mind doing it since i have a means to do it and thought about it years ago for the lols. I just wonder how Remilia and Minoriko are gonna take it....especially Remilia.

you mentioned earlier about worring about this RPG getting canned by the admins if they want to search for any meaning whatsoever to close it. This could COULD add fuel for that idea. I don't know. just throwing that out there.

Regardless, MTG, you might want to limit the scope of this, considering the player outcry about it. "Beating up Eirin and the fairies for making everyone lesbians and bullying her into making an antidote" may be a good way to represent this.

Unless, of course, rest of the girls prefer this... or want at least a few hours to toy with it. :V

Eh, I see that the deal here is heavily divided.

And I am part of the minority, this sort of set-up is necessary for my character, but this situation is not the most ideal due to the nature of many of the characters.

you could just have Eirin premade antidotes ready ya know too?
she gave these pills to everyone to see if the effect was consistent and say "alright i got all the data i needed thanks guys here is the antidote if you want to change back"
that way some can change back immidiately and others can stay changed for their own amusement and story elements.
For those who couldn't change they can be like if they want..."dammit eirin ran out of antidote so now i have to wait till she either makes more or for 24 hours to pass"  etc etc

Didn't know there were people sensitive and touchy about these issues. I thought most of you have been RPing for a good while XD.

Ok, ok, ladies and gentlemen, you can all do whatever you want to do. Exceptions granted.

But before you do, let me explain the justification for this:
1) The plans for the next few days include maid and shrine maiden training. Won't that be fun?
2) I want everyone to be in on this TOGETHER. I am trying to cut down on solo storylines and plot fragmentation. This is an MMORPG, meaning it's supposed to be played together. So while the girls are going off for training, what will the guys do? ....I think this solves the problem is a rather fun way ^^
3) It's fun, random love comedy style, typical of random slice-of-life storylines. Can your manliness withstand this?
4) A good opportunity to get closer to your partners as all the 'barriers' have been removed. Perfect opportunity for quality character development. You can start seeing the world through the eyes of your partner and understand them better.
5) There will be an event later on on day 4 when our little 'disguise' will really help.
6) The yakuza will make a reappearance....how humiliating would it be if they got resoundingly crushed by an army of girls?
7) It's temporary.

Anyhow, if you're really sensitive about it, then that's fine. Though I believe you're really missing out on opportunities for fun and character development here. Such opportunities won't be coming up again. It'd be like missing out on a party.

If you decide to opt out of this then pay attention to the following:
1) STAY WITH THE TEAM. Don't go off on your own. PREVENT FRAGMENTATION! I don't want another tank/pirate/battleship fiasco. If you must go out, go with at least 2 or 3 teams.
2) Interact with other players. That's the point of an MMORPG, to play with other players. Build relationships with other players, whether positive or negative.
3) Get a disguise of some sort for day 4. That's necessary for the plot. Otherwise, huge gaping plot hole.
