Green gets zero games for choking an opponent and punching him in the head repeatedly, Evans gets one game for jumping on a dude's back.

I do not, and probably never will, understand the NFL.

Yeah uh I sure as hell wouldn't have bet on Evans in that hypothetical.

The only reason I can think of is that Green has more or less been a model citizen before this and Ramsey had been (allegedly) needling him all game, and that Evans came flying into a situation that had absolutely nothing to do with him and turned nothing into something.

GB is in a similar situation where Indy was a few years ago when the lost Peyton Manning for the year. With Godgers/Manning, they're a playoff team. Without them, they're in competition for the #1 draft pick. People severely underestimate how much Godgers covers up just how bad GB is, overall.

When they replaced Favre with Rodgers I don't remember him being this bad. He talked Hundley up like the next for Rodgers and he's not even playing like the next Alex Smith

0% chance that GB does. Kaep is still not a good QB and is in no way shape or form able to cover up just how bad GB is.

Not to say Green Bay is good, but he's a sight better than Hundley and is probably just good enough to keep their heads barely above water in the event Rodgers actually is able to return at the end of the season.

That said, I'd still pick Houston; they were legitimately a playoff-caliber team with Watson and Kaepernick is very similar in play style (as opposed to the literal dumpster fire that is the Savage/Yates/McGloin situation). Plus McNair may think it would help get people off his back.
