Need help, Touhou 12 will not run

I just received a copy of Touhou 12 Undefined Fantastic Object and I can't get it to run.  It seems to install ok (everythings in Japanese and I can't readily translate it) but when I go to play it, an error message pops up.  Does anyone know anything about this game or why it won't run?  I have 6 other Touhou games which all run fine.  Thank you.

It can't write the config file to the game folder, likely because the write permissions are denied to the folder. Where are you trying to run the game from?

From its default install folder.   C:Program Files (x86)上海アリス幻樂団東方星蓮船

Do I need to change its location or is there a way to change permissions?

Right click on game shortcut or program.
Run as administrator.
Type your login password if you have one.
This should give the game the permissions it needs to run.

Instead of manually running as admin each time, right-click the folder -> Properties -> Security -> Enable Write and Modify permissions for Everyone, if possible.
Alternatively, you can right-click th12.exe -> Properties -> Compatibility -> Run this program as an administrator, but you'll still have to get through UAC every time you want to play.

Alternatively alternatively, in what is probably the best option, just install the games to a location that isn't your Program Files folders.
