> "One of your needles should suffice.  The blood goes in the center, there."  Yukari gestures to the center of the platform you're standing on, where all the lines in the magic circle meet in a small circle.  "Before you do that, I am going to give the signal to let the other groups know it's time to start.  Once they are all connected to this platform, then you give the blood."

> Chen taps you on the shoulder.  "What's that thing you're holding?"

> You cradle the egg in one arm and start preparing ofuda with the other.  You get four of them out, and wait.  You'll have to wait for the paths to connect before you can actually use the ofuda.  At least you're prepared.
> As you're getting ready, you see a glimmer of light approaching from south.

> You wait until the light reaches the platform.  It's a trail of light, solidifying into a glass-like substance when it reaches the platform.  However, it is so faint you don't feel safe about stepping on it.  As soon as it touches down, you slap an ofuda onto it.  The ofuda glows, and is absorbed into the pathway.

> As you set down the ofuda, you look over to see what the Yakumos are doing.  You watch as Yukari speaks to Ran and Chen.
> "...go to the west and south groups, and you go to the north and east groups for the final preparations..." Yukari is saying.  Ran and Chen nod and take off in opposite directions.  You notice Ran give you a wave as she leaves.

> You wave to Ran and wait for the next light.  You keep an eye on Yukari, who doesn't appear to be doing anything.  She summons a gap and sits back on it, fanning herself.  After about five minutes, you see a light come from the north.  That was Marisa's group.
