> You think back.  All of the times you've seen her, nothing extraordinary had happened.  Except for, maybe, the first time you ever saw her since the first incident you solved, which was shortly after the Geyser Incident.  That was kind of a shock.  Then, there was when you fought her, and back then you didn't know who she was.  Before that, you don't remember much at all.  Not about her, or anything else.

> "Uh."  She seems to freeze up.  Whatever it is, it doesn't look like she's going to say anything about it.

> She shakes her head.  "No, if I...it's not something I can just...I have no idea how I'm supposed to..."
> Her eyes flicker up at the sky through the branches for a moment, and then towards the surrounding trees.

> You leave the forest and head back to the shrine.  As you emerge from the trees, you see Marisa sitting on the back deck with a glass in her hand and Chen sprawled over her legs.  Youmu sits next to her with her hands folded neatly on her lap, and her ghost half hovering above the group.  You also see the gap Ran set up has grown noticeably; it's still small, though.

> She runs back into the shrine, and reappears a few minutes later leading Sanae by the arm.  Sanae looks slightly confused.
> "Great, everyone's here, ze," Marisa says.  She shoos Chen off her lap and stands up to mount her broom.  "Chen, you and Suika're house-sittin' today, ze!"
> Chen meows in response.

> You, Marisa, Sanae, and Youmu lift off and fly towards the hole in the sky.  Within seconds, Ran has joined the group.  Fortunately, herding these guys is way easier than herding cats.  You stay at the front of the group, leading everyone across the water and towards the distant mountains in the east.  Minutes pass, and the clouds roll on overhead.  The sun is blocked out by a particularly big cloud, and the orbs of water floating in the air stop sparkling with light.  Once you pass once, and Marisa quickly learns her lesson when she flies through it and it comes crashing down around her.  Ran, Sanae, and even Youmu laugh at the sight.  Marisa flies on with her hat comically weighed down around her head.  She's thoroughly drenched, but hopefully she'll dry out by the time you reach the Boundary.
> As you fly, Sanae glides over to you.
> "I got the water charm from Lady Suwako," she tells you, "but after that I couldn't find you.  Where'd you go?"

Ended up spending the night at the palace of the earth spirits. Oh...Um, I went back to that dream world again, yesterday. And, um, lots of things that turned into crystals and stuff? And there was a huge black void in your shrine. Couldn't figure out what was up with it."

> "Huh."  Sanae furrows her brow as you explain the day's events.  "I didn't catch you in the dream world, but I heard that you showed up.  I don't know about any crystals or voids, though.  What kind of things did you find out?"
