Touhou Sky Arena Crash

Hello guys! I have a problem with that game and it seems no one posted about it except for a few people on the internet which no one resolved yet... So i installed TSA original and then patched it to 1.51 Hayate, installed Kurenai and patched it to 1.51 before applying Matsuri which asked for both location of both games.

All installation was set to default location and my computer is in japanese locale already since i play Japanese visual novel. I followed this tutorial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1rcLHBGTVMk

The problem is that whenever i launch the game(no matter what version, kurenai or hayate even before applying patch), i get the loading and then the little 3rdeye thing and just after that i have TSA.exe has stopped working. So, i was wondering if anyone have a solution?


I'm on windows 7 64bit
Nvidia 9800gt
Asus P5QLPRO
Intel Quad Core Q8200 2.33Ghz

For the record 1.51 isn't the latest patch anymore but that's a different topic  :derp:

From the sounds of it you haven't done anything wrong from the listed steps. For me I have Windows 7 64 bit, UAC off, Japanese Locale. Other than:

Installing Hayate (and patching it to 1.58)
Installing Kurenai (and patching it to 1.58)
Using the Matsuri 1.58 patch to combine the games.

Runs perfectly fine. I've never had the game crash before and I can even launch it with Steam.

I don't know what you did wrong unless your hardware for some reason doesn't like the game. Have you ever gotten it running at all in the past? I've played TSA before Kurenai was even out.
