Well, this was less productive than I'd hoped.
So at this point, my only idea is to stake out the customs office and wait for Louise to emerge. Follow her, and see where that goes.
That's my only idea. I am more than welcome to suggestions.

Then go back to the ship, find out what Neu is like, use that knowledge to narrow down where she might have gone based on your knowledge of Braston, and go out and find her.

Unless you prefer stalking and/or assaulting a government official.

The problem with that is, unless she returns before the office closes, her information does us no good.

I was hoping that, once the work day was done, she would lead us to either her other conspirators, or the document itself. If the former, we could bust them ourselves, or get the Watch. If the latter, we could steal the papers back, or get the Watch. Either way, the problem would be resolved, and we'd be on our way.

It sucks wasting a day, yeah. But I'd rather risk spending the day to make sure the info I had was exactly correct than risk getting thrown in jail for harassing a government official, especially given we know we're right about the disappearance of this permit. And who knows? If Neu's back on the ship by now, you'd still have enough time to go back and forth between the ship and the office before closing. Just imagine the look on Little Miss Asshole's face if something actually comes up.
