I saw the first season of this show and kinda enjoyed it.... Season 2 seems like it'll be pretty good, I'm going to have to pick this up.
Anyone already seen this first ep? How was it?

no reason why I am not watching this
-
OK, no post for over 14 days are you all watching this even??
Kuroneko's you wa shocked face is awesome.
Tell me, really, why isn't the Kuroneko specific OVA out yet>? HOW COULD YOU KYOUSUKE, you knew her feelings why didn't you respond, she FUCKING loves you so much she probably goes home, lie on her bed and smell her clothes to get a whiff of you when she walked with you earlier. She is just begging for you to look at her and no one else...! Screw the little sister, she is the one.
also moodkiller Kirino. Bitch needs to die period.
-
Perturbed the direction this might take, considering
Kuroneko confessed
mid-season, which could lead to a switch to "true route"
in late season. C'mon show, I thought you were subverting this specifically.
-
It'll either be
Kirino end
or neutral end, with the siblings' relationship repaired
. Search your heart, you know it to be true.
They'll most likely animate Kuroneko and Kyousuke going out and then breaking up, as well as shenanigans with Ayase
, but I don't think they'll go any further than that with them. The show is named after the titular character.
And as expected, Manami, Saori, and Kanako never.
-
I demand the game ending.
everyone gets pregnant

So erm, watching Kuroneko go 'GYTYAAAAAAA OMG KYYYAAAAA' on the pillow last episode with this episode, I am almost readily prepped up with all the bad feels... this is gonna go bad because sister cockblock. I CAN FEEL IT IN MY BONES
-
OK, give me every shironeko doujin in existence, I will cherish them so hard they become diamonds when I am done.

I always approach these possible siscon shows with extreme caution, as I have a younger sister and it's just way too weird for me. However, this show has delivered for me, as it hits really close to home. Kirino and Kyouskue reminds me of my little sister and I so much. She obviously isn't into siscon/H games or anything but the dynamic that Kirino and Kyouskue have is just so similar to me and my imouto,. We hated each other's guts in those middle school/high school years but when there was no one else to talk to, we were as tight as glue. Also she's done a lot of modeling and pageants (former Miss Teen Arkansas!) so I understand that dynamic too. Even her hair color is the same as Kirino's.
Shows that focus on family relationships are always some of my favorites because, like I've said too many times, they hit close to home. Clannad (Especially AS) is one of those shows that pulled at my heart strings so hard that I always re-watch it when I'm having a difficult time in my life because it reminds me how important family is.
Is it just me or is this show is SO emotionally exhausting to watch? Every episode has a cliffhanger and sometimes it's nothing but sometimes it is. I can't wait to see how this wraps up! Thanks Tournesol for showing it to me.

Kuroneko has to get something out of the finale. (http://i.imgur.com/pvKsGI7.jpg)
Please. It can't end this way.

I am really, really sorry.

Yeah, I just read the spoilers. I'm not sure if I can believe them or not.
What happened to Kuroneko is heartbreaking, definitely. However I don't know if she ends up with absolutely nothing because I'm not sure what "But, he tells her how he really feels about her" means. Is that referring to Kirino or Kuroneko? It's clear that Kyousuke treasures Kuroneko (maybe not romantically, but definitely at least as a friend), he was devastated when she left him.
I'm okay with a Kirino end, since they cut out parts of her developing relationship with Kyousuke from the anime (if they were going to sideline Saori, why even bother giving her an episode). It's also the end which makes the most happy too, since Kuroneko, Ayase, and Kanako can more or less accept their relationship, and Kirino is obviously happy with it.
What happened to Manami is absolute justice.
-
Sorry, I don't wanna read spoilers :P, but whether she had a reason or not, the way Kuroneko used Kyosuke was pretty disgusting. All to get what? Her reasoning is as clear as pea soup! Kyo was in complete emotional attachment, then had whatever little happiness he had shred apart and told it was a joke. I honestly feel bad for him. Kuroneko was my favorite character, but I'm seriously reconsidering because of that dick move.
-
I am sorry but you are wrong, what they had was mutual and her feelings were just these disguises because she was too shy to admit to love/
-
Meanwhile, is it normal that
after the Light Novel ending it kinda makes you shake your head at Kyosuke for being too hung up on one girl that he decides to be a wizard instead of moving on?

Oreimo, is something that always had questionable writing, but the recent events really show that it's gone to shit. I don't really know what's up with that.
-
Light Novel ending didn't surprise me at all as a Kuroneko fan.
It's just so dumb that the story doesn't resolve anything between anyone who isn't Kyousuke or Kirino. He just tells all the other girls he's not interested and they're all heartbroken and that's it.
Manami's breakdown was hilarious though. It lessens the pain of Kuroneko's martyrdom.
-
For ppl who have read the light novel. LOL at the ending right?
I seriously did not expect that at all...

You... didn't? I wasn't really surprised, just disappointed.

You... didn't? I wasn't really surprised, just disappointed.
I saw some hints from Kuroneko's view. I just didn't expect it to actually happen. There was a scene I think that Manami said to Kirino before everything happened, Manami breaking Kyouske's image to Kirino, and saying, "You can't marry your brother". Which explains why Kirino hates Manami, and is cold towards his brother. From that point I knew Kirino had some brother complex, and was actually planning to marry his brother.
But I thought Tsukasa Fushimi wouldn't actually go for an "Incestous Route Ending", rather I expected Kirino would just confess to his brother, his brother rejects her, she accepts it, Kyouske chooses another girl, her sister supports him, and still loves him as a brother, then everyday life goes on.
Which seriously devastated my expectations and just gave me utter disappointment.

I'm usually against decisions like changing a manga's plot a little in the anime adaptation, BUT this is one of those times I actually would like the Anime Studio Director to NOT FULLY ADAPT a light novel.

Heading for the wrong direction...it seems all hope is lost now.
At this point, I'm now just watching this not because I like it "now", but for the sake of just finishing this series.
Seriously, I was hoping for the Ayase x Kyouske Route as oppose to the Incestous Kirino x Kyouske Route
.
I think the next episode we'll finally know why Kirino hate/hated Manami and/or Kyouske.
Since ep. 13 is the last, A-1 has a choice to either end it there
, or have season 3
.

Actually, there're three extra episodes being released in... August I believe.
I think they did the same thing with the first season.

>"If it makes you smile at least once, I'll be happy."
It was nice of them to verify exactly what I thought this was about. And yes, I've definitely smiled. Slowclapped a few times too.

THIS JUST IN, I burned my entire collection out of sheer rage. nothing left.
seriously, Author, kill yourself. preferably in the most dishonorable way possible

I take you just found out/saw the incest ending
.
Yeah... I'll just say it seems to have unified the fanbase in absolutely hating the ending and leave it at that.

Even the Kirino fans kinda hated it because she doesn't stick with him at the end
-
About the ending...
The only thing I disliked about the ending was the ambiguity in Kyousuke's and Kirino's future together. They're clearly not going to cut their relationship off forever. I assume they're going to wait until they're older so they can avoid conflict with their parents and friends for their choice.

fuck this series
