Alright. 4:00 PM and I think I'm finally starting to crash.

So apparently this thing gives a good 12 hours or so of energy. I'm honestly not that surprised, but it's still fucking ridiculous.

When I worked night shifts I used to mix coffee, cacao and honey. A mug of that and I was all set for the next 12 hours. So I'm not surprised this unspeakable horror kept you awake as long as it did.

And that sounds quite good, actually. Though I like tea much more than coffee, so maybe that's why.

Also thirteen hours now, and the crash hasn't hit full severity yet. Probably going to sleep when I get home anyway, though.

At the Korean corner stores in Baltimore they would sell bottles of ginseng root in water. Down one of those like a shot and you were wide a-friggin-wake for at least 24 hours. The taste isn't that great, I agree, but you can chase it with something.
