Today is ???? Belt Day.  Without belts our pants would fall down around our ankles and then we'd trip and get terribly injured and all be at the hospital for falling related injuries which would cripple the day-to-day operations all around Filgaia.  Hooray for belts!

We had a belt day =[

Today is dishwasher, Ascension Day. Every day, we ascend in some manner, whether it's climbing ladders, going up stairs, or even getting out of bed. Everything that ascends has to come down sooner or later, though... Why do you suppose that is?

Today is MMDDYYYY, STD Awareness Day.  I didn't have a clear
explanation of this day.  All I know is that it involves wearing
rubber all the time, or something.  But if that's the case,
wouldn't it be something else, like "how to avoid lightning day"?

Today is qqrbrrbll, Verbosity Day! Rather, were I truly practicing the intent of this holy day of the year named in celebration of the excess of eloquence, it would be far more precise to speak of this 24-hour period in terms of the aforementioned description. Unfortunately, such uncharacteristic brevity was a necessity for initially describing this joyous occasion.

I nominate tomorrow to be

October 10th, HAM DAY.

The day when people do not speak - THEY DECLARE. This will oftentimes lead to TALKING OVER EACH OTHER and trying to always get THE LAST WORD IN! Like that one guy who kept trying to upstage me all the time, who TRULY MET WHAT HE DESERVED!

Just wanted to get a head start on that :3 Cuz I know I'm gonna be actin HAMMY ALL DAAAAAAAY LOOOOOOOOOOONG

I am confused in a wonderful fashion

Today is walrus, Made-Up Ancient Civilizations Day! Today celebrates the many fantastic cities of the past used in works of fiction, with so many strange quirks and unique technology! And who knows, maybe some of them are real? Filgaia still has many mysteries, after all...

Today is Droog, Obscure Mythical Figure Day. Today celebrates the many long-forgotten gods, heroes, and legends that were never popular enough to make it to today. In fact, it started as a holy day for one of those forgotten gods, but no one remembered which one. So, it was expanded to honor that god and all others struck with its plight.

After the whole "Satori's playing Neopets, hang on" thing in Okuu Quest, I'm not surprised she watches kids' shows too. ...Though I have to question how kid-friendly it is if that's a bomb on screen.

Ah, I probably should have clarified "modern kids' shows". Older cartoons such as Tom and Jerry were a bit more loose on what went into them.

Today is narf, Political Correctness Day! This holiday was declared to show respect to the many terms made to avoid offending the delicate sensitivities of Filgaia's many minorities. Sadly, I don't think I remember any of them...

Kisume's little anecdote just about made my day.

"Human history and growth are both linked closely to strife. Without conflict, humanity would have no impetus for growth. When humans are satisfied with their present condition, they may as well give up on life."
