I'd recommend checking out some of the older mythologies too, like Egyptian and Babylonian, as they have some pretty awesome concepts in them too. Especially the Epic of Gilgamesh if you have time to read it~

The Epic of Gilgamesh is neat as hell. Also, the story of Tiamat is one of my favorites.~

I only know Egyptian a little bit. Slaying of Osirus and and all that. Who I mistook for Anubis at first. =[

To be fair, Gilgamesh isn't a full god. Hes just a spoiled power hungry kid with a lot of power. :V

Nice pic of Suwako there Slables, but don't you think she's a little small? And Kanako is huge. o_o;

I can't think of a good combination to go with it, but you should figure out how to put Elegy in the title somehow.

that's because she's on a pillar far away from Kanako :I
