Pretty much only entered the Facepalm IP contest for a larf, so I'm giving my IP title to one lucky person who completes this challenge.
This is a video of classic video game deaths. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJ6APKIjFQY) Maybe you'll be able to identify some, most, or all of them, one way or the other. You might have even played some of them.
Your task, for this challenge, is to depict any of these video game deaths in the medium of your choosing: prose, poetry, drawing, video, music - literally any conceivable genre that can be conveyed over the internet. The sole condition is, whatever video game death you choose to depict in whichever medium you want, it must in some way involve Jack Bauer.
You can submit as many times as you want. Be creative, be funny, be a princess.
Deadline is Sunday 17 April, 11:59PM, GMT.

My name is Arthur. I am a knight, on a quest to save Princess Prin Prin. It is a long, hard journey, and I must bear without my armor for a while because, even though it is amazing defensively... Later that day, a witness confirmed that he has seen a half-naked man with a crazed look in his eye screaming in Times Square about some sort or "Princess" He was later found that day dead, somehow already a pile of skeletons, only for the skeletons to disappear seconds after blinking.. Scientists are believing that it may be caused by a mystical power called a "One-Up", or a "Extra Life", which returns the user to a certain point so they can continue their life. It only activates after death though.
"Mommy, Why was that man naked?"
"Because he was high" screamed Jack Bauer at the top of his lungs, flexing about.

Mapping out the inner cave
Creating his own little tour
Searching for one he must save
Ere we come to Jack Bauer
Running around very fast
Collecting little pellets of power
But then he met up with a ghost
He then turned into some toast
(Just came up with this in a span of a few minutes, bigger entry going to come in a few days :V)

Journeying through a field of graves
Arthur ran around in nigh but armor
A princess he has set to save
But being naught but poor
He uses all the scraps he finds
An axe, a spear, and then some more
The path he goes had twists and bends
Heading through a ghastly boat
Although the foes he face follows trends
Though numerous they lack thought
Lacking a dimension third
And in straight paths they do trot
He leaves the boat and finds a raft
He moves from zombies to fish
And moves on as he catches a draft
In the end he fries an octopus
And heads into a pit of fire
How can he do this without a fuss
But here he moves on without fear
He finally beats the fifth stage pyre
And proceeds with a tear
However he's back the first stage without power
And proceeds to die on the stone of Jack Bauer
(No idea how I came up with this on the spot o_O)
(Also kips, nowhere in there did I see a reference to Jack Bauer)

Alright, sorry for being late with this. I was struck down by a nasty flu on Sunday night and am only now recovering.
So then.
It seems most everyone opted for the text format, which is totally fine, although I was hoping to see at least one drawing up in here. But ah well.
Anyway, we have a tie.
First, Trance. I found myself giggling several times during this reading. It was a pretty creative take on the assigned challenge, too.
That said, props have to go to Kyubey PX for making quite an effort there in using a medieval genre for a medieval-themed game. Good show!
Now, as Trance is an ID, but Kyubey is but a mere member, I think IP should go to Kyubey. Trance can rest assured that his reading will go directly into my Trance's Readings folder where I will enjoy it for years to come.
