Cheating? I cannot even wrap my head around the point of it. Wouldn't you know you had cheated? How on Earth could you maintain crisp certainty of your superiority to all others? And if you're unable to do that, what's the point of anything?

Too much bother to change it to 50 posts per page.  Besides, that's way too many posts for one page anyway~  I'd just end up skimming through most of them without paying any attention if I did that, really...

And I want to give all of you my absolute attention, because I love each and every one of you~<3

I'm planning one too kay >:I

..although I'm a bit lazy with actually hard-planning it and its mostly just theories and ideas evolving in my head when I've been bored for the past year. It'll get done once I make myself sit down and continue the hard-planned stuff on my computer, since idea-wise its pretty much completely finished.

It's a lot harder when its completely original and I therefore don't have 90% of the locations and characters done for me D:

Make shit up on the fly. Its what I do. :V Besides, you're going to need to adapt. Just make a soft-plan.

Original? Now this intrigues me.

Unfortunately with everything being original it's FAR more dangerous to make shit up on the fly and not ruin the storyline... I've gotta at least have characters/quests/locations fairly planned.

Besides, my overly ambitious mind wants to put in a sequel so I can't go screwing up the story on the first part of it ;3

Basically a release date is "Whenever I get my ass to work on it" because I should, in theory, be able to finish most of the still needed planning within an hour or two. Enough to start it at least, and then I'll be pressured to do the rest in time  :V

Also considering a shorter teaser thing to be released first that shouldn't take nearly as much effort to throw together, and to give me practice with this.

Just go with the flow, try and make it entertaining but try not to be retarded with it. Txt.Adventures aren't always planned out some are pretty much spur of the moment. I know I didn't even make a lick of an outline for Legendary Warcat or Phantasms of Destruction, I was just "Okay gonna stick Neco Arc Chaos and Bomberman in Gensokyo, let's see where we go with this..."

In addition to this, some of the choices people make will often times, give ideas for events all on their own.

Spoiler:
'Sides if your game bombs then you have no one to blame but yourself :V

This very much.

If you get a creative player or two, you can quietly work off of them for ages. Even the least creative player can give you ideas once in awhile. The trick is just to be able to use it without contradicting things that have already happened. So in the beginning, they're especially useful.

These are good points. I probably really don't need to plan as much as I thought. I DO need to at least get the locations down... and a rather vauge plot advancement line. Quite frankly, I already have the second in my head anyway, so I guess I just need to finalize locations and the most important characters/quests  :V

Heck, I could probably do that in less then an hour. I'll hopefully do it today/this weekend.

ITT Ruro's manliness becomes boring and we talk about text adventures instead

An interesting rule of thumb that I work with in RPGs that would also apply to text adventures is that the players (and their characters, if applicable) are the most important things in the universe. Everything revolves around them. Thus, by necessity, everything else is less important. Once that's been established, plot will tend to flow quite freely.

As far as switch-hitting goes, it seems that my BURNING RESOLVE swapped my scores around... I got 90 manliness, 68.333 feminine, 71.667 andro. I was expecting some rise in manliness, but not like this... And with a big drop to femininity... I know I've become more of a jerk lately, but not like this!

But hey, this all if you're willing to actually write them again.
