You weren't supposed to actually install AIM. AIM is bloated as all hell. You were just supposed to get the AIM account (which you've done as part of the installation anyway IIRC)

Anyway, your next step is to go here, install Pidgin, and add your AIM to it.

Your AIM account. It should automatically ask you for it anyway, so at least you won't have to seek it out.

Blackrock Shooter is, apparently, a suspiciously Miku-like character made for a Miku song that took off enormously and ended up getting its own anime (short?).
