So I was listening to David Bowie and it pretty much put me in a weird mood, a good one.
Backstory of sorts:
Seeing as you don't seem to have SlavesArt or that I may have missed it despite checking the info thread, I made original you.
My version~
Hakurei SM is a Chimera, the Latin type and she lives near the shrines, and relies on her ability to shapeshift into various OBJECTS/ANIMALS (of a same mass or slight higher) to survive. She is as her species dictate a mythical creature combined of several animals.
A lizard by nature, she has scales on her back to her butt and a snake's tail. She has one wing remnant of her bird 'gene'. She has gills which is covered by her neck decoration strap, and has about 4 stomachs remnant of her cow 'gene', as she takes human forms, she also gains human genes and generally looks like a girl with a tale.
Her unique ability comes in play when the crosses in her eyes begin to glow, she can 'scan' objects/animals and adapt into their form. What does this mean? SHE CAN TRANSFORM INTO A GIANT YUKKURI.

I was lazy to shadow, sorry about that.
I shadow manually using smudges with 2B pencils, and that takes about half hour to get it right with proper erasing, I was tired.

Though that wing and tail look like they might be a nuisance when dressing. Chimera's ain't got it easy. :V

Here are her specs:
Her left hand is hand of fission, and right the hand of fusion.
A Satori with extremely high IQ and is a physicist, wears a CERN labcoat and mesh stockings and no shows as she cools down using water from making fusion or fission attacks.
by the way, I got inspired to finish this today because of MJP's post on CPMC's contest, that was most touching.

Do Muffin and many clones of Muffin approaching ... I dunno, Mode or maybe one of Ijiyatsu's player characters, and doing Agent Smith's "it is purpose that defines us" speech at the beginning of the Burly Brawl, except with "purpose" replaced with "stuff." And then it skips to the "all the clones pouncing on protagonist" bit at the end.

Special note: used charcoal pen to complete this, quite special in a way, it looked quite rough tho and after cleaning the effects is lesser clear. Charcoal pens give a more defined shadowy look with thick lines and heavy inked feel supposedly.
I actually forgot to do the eyes, and after scanning used color to fill it in.
Not my best, drawing FRONT is not sideways, and hence, there is this strange bit about her right arm placed on her hips, her body also doesn't feel too right.
I promise to do this again next time, maybe follow a more traditional drawing method.

imho, breasts don't really matter when you're looking at a pretty awesome picture such as this one.

Showing the proper folds and creases in clothing is a really subtle detail, but it adds a lot to the image when it's done properly. That's what struck me most about this most recent drawing.

Also Nwbi's got such a cash hat, yo. Although, I will agree that the eyes do look sorta wonky. If you stare at them long enough, the left eye seems to drift off a little bit giving her that 'hurr' look. But otherwise, this is another piece of awesome you have graced us with.

Pako is the patron god of Mexican food, her ability being to be able to summon Mexican dishes no matter where she is, making her the number 1 icon after Mary and Jesus, providing food to hungry children and homeless men.
A warrior at heart, Pako fights the good war of helping the helpless, and keeping the streets clear from drugs whenever possible.
"Why would you need drugs when you can have a taco?" - she is quoted as saying
She wears a sombrero with a music player hidden somewhere inside that plays mariachi music along with a strap holder that carries not guns, but Tabasco sauce and chili sauce. I think it is easy once you have the basic shape of the pose in hand, plus, well, they are several hours apart, and I started this morning at 9am my local time and finished by 3pm (with lunch in between) so plenty of time to fill in the fun box.

With the collaboration of the world's former divides, the world is now united against the strong and near impossible to defeat nation Xiel Empire.
Where the World Army has progressed, Xiel took a step back. Though her chess pieces were far from over, the scene was all set for her defeat and inevitable retreat. Knowing so, Xiel, or at least the True Xiel which was the creature she sent out (the one in bandages) who claimed to be God was taken back, and aided her escape.
Who was Xiel? The answer was plain and simple. In her zeal to become the greatest of all minds, she has neurally linked herself to the 'Brain of The World' which is a set of minds belonging to adults grown and harvested in test tubes. Effectively the linking enabled her to process what could well be a few million thoughts at once, a Hive Mind if one should call it and she was the queen. Born naturally with a disease that was once thought to be extinct, Polio, Xiel was once thought helpless and left to die. Her zeal for survival enabled her to become the great underground scientist, and her exploits with 'The Network' which is supervised by Russia earned her countless fortunes that multiply endlessly, which she funded her research with.
In her Hive, her body is as before, shrunken and shriveled, thousands of wires and tubes attached to her body to keep her alive. Her human life is ending, and had not her robotic self, or the clone of True Xiel and the other Xiels, her being would have died. The World Army closes in, and she makes one last ditch effort to escape the World Army, not just with her army of readily available clones which all look exactly like her, but also the ones she has perfected so well.
However, at current, Eve Xiel has returned to her doorstep, posing as a servant as she was before, with her conversion by the World Army, or more precisely the one called Aeont; the stage is set for a betrayal. Will Eve Xiel lure the world's common enemy out of her impenetrable hive? Or will she too die and Xiel fade from history, and prepare her next assault?

Iio Kamigari or just Iio (commonly called Chiyo) is born to a Japanese father and a child belonging to the 'pre-war' Xiel Empire, when the illustrious Xiel was called as a leader instead of a dictator. Her age is unknown, but it was widely believed that Iio is a modified child whose parents disappeared after an overnight reformation of army ranks which her parents worked in cause for her to seek answers through the orphanage.
Under the guidance of her teacher and mentor, Om, a mysterious benefactor to her who is also the vivid mind behind the establishment of Tour-de-force armament The Imperials of former Germany (absolved after Xiel's invasion and subdued); Iio learned much. As she reached adulthood, a hint from her nation's illustrious leader called for her to be tasked in Xiel's elite force of superhumans.
She was human then and was modified to reach superhuman status thanks to her unique powers, being that she can heal quickly with medication and can force her body to react to electric signals as repellents to certain forces. In this case, her ability to manipulate the trajectory of projectiles made her nearly invincible. She can repel bullets, and even entire buildings worth of weighted projectiles from her body with her mind and will.
However, with Xiel (the true face whom is connected to the Brain of The World hidden away from everyone, including those serving her) executive order to begin a cruel invasion into Northern Europe, slaughtering man woman and child alike without mercy, her faith for her illustrious leader was overturned.
At this point, leading her armament were also defectives, superhumans whom are both capable of great abilities as well as thinking minds, which were yet to be reformed by Xiel's Imperative, a move later christened as 'mass brainwash of all superior minds' which changed the course of history. Xiel Empire was formed, instead of the nation, a new army was built and assembled. Dead bodies were recycled, reused, reengineered, all for the endless tide of submission soon to swept across Europe and Africa.
Push came to shove, and when Eve Xiel (serving Xiel then) explored her neural network and discovered the defectives intent to betray Xiel, including Iio herself; a chase was on as Iio attempted to cross borders in Asia.
Her escape led her to Om, who resided in Japan all this time somehow, and finally meeting her benefactor and mentor, Om explained to Iio that it was all meant to be and died in her arms pierced by one of Xiel's many superhuman assassins. Om's resistant force, predicting that Xiel would grow impatient and bent on a course of conquering all of Asia, rose up to join hands with Iio's leadership inheritance.
Iio established herself Captain, and became the force to be reckon with. Her backing from Asia's finest militarist factions to defend against Xiel's uprising earned her superior status, and that is not yet including her involvement with Xiel as she has a lot of knowledge regarding Xiel's Empire inner workings. Her force is named Anti-Xiel Elite Armament, in memory of Om, whose surname is Axea.

Ummm....they haven't really told me to do anything either, aside from drawing up concept art for characters and mecha. Apparently everyone's going to have individualized pilot suits so that'll be something that will need designing.
Also, I was thinking of making the dialogue scenes feature cut-in portraits ala Disgaea or Ar Tonelico, so we'll probably be needing full body portraits (Much like what you've been doing so far ^^)
I'll be busy with work again myself come next term, but hopefully I'll still have time to do a few illustrations here and there ^^

I also thought about the world this year and how chaotic it has been.
I thought about the scaremongering of Al Gore and his Nobel prize winning book of climate change horrors and that we can change, provided we have the will of unity. I thought about George Michael's song 'Patience' and that how the world is running low. I thought about the lyrics 'God turned his back, and his children walked out the back door.' I thought about how this Copenhagen convention, much like the failures of Kyoto Protocols, and like so the industrial giants America and China who refuses to stand up for carbon emission cut-downs, and I thought about 2012.
I thought about how utterly unlikely 2012 will mean the end of the world, before the end of humanity, at the hands of selfishness. In a time when we needed most to understand why we pass each year celebrating into the new year, we should think about how we far apart we are from each other standing at a stadium cheering away at the countdown parties and fireworks. I thought we should give a small thought right now and ask ourselves, "what if?"
What if one day my children will walk a ruined world, covered to the brim with enough rubbish to resemble the scene of garbage mountains in WALL.E. the animated feature by Pixar? What if, the dark clouds above us rains down acid and melts our skin? What if, our shelters, our homes are like the mudhouses by the River Nile, that upon the rise of the Nile, shall be flooded away as the coming tides of seawater; propelled by the polar icecaps melting, comes consume us?
What if, our securities are like papers fluttering in the wind, held only by a single hand, and that we will someday lose it if we don't grip "THE NOW" ?

Info on Myon (By A-F): her profile is all black, including clothes and hair, except the red eyes. Except the eye colors, which each spectrum of color reserves for a particular banned fairy, in this case, Myon is red.
The default ability is manipulation of right to wrong, and only in that direction. No matter what is right, a banned fairy has the ability to make life miserable for everyone, or make things right into wrong. (though really, it is not that I am all that pissed with Myon, but ergh, get a clue then pls.)

an OC for what I hope to be an actual written work (progress 0%) of a mysterious Level 5 from outside of Academy City into the Toaru Index world.
Kashigiri-senpai's ability is the manipulation of antimatter. A power so devastating her past was erased from the books of Academy City and was 'removed' by the underground administration of Academy's highest orders.
However, 15 years after she was ousted, she came back, still looking as young as she was when she was removed from the records, a 15 year year old girl, whose real age is around 35.
What happened after she was gone? Will her act for revenge affect the others who will come in contact with her?
A chanced encounter with Misaka, prompts a friendly start, however, evil shadows lurk behind Kashigiri-senpai as assassins from unknown sides begin to appear one by one. Feigning innocence and acting as a level 0, Misaka defended her from these assassins, but how much will she find out as the suspicions crawl?
What's more, with Accelerator's inclusion into the picture, and the other 3 Level 5s that have yet to be revealed entering the story, how much longer can Misaka's blind justice help Kashigiri-senpai achieve her unknown goals?!

AF, no worries. We artists draw because we enjoy it. So only draw when you find it fun. No need to feel pressure to draw. Whenever you have the time and feel like chilling out, lay down a few pencil strokes.
As Hele said, work/school takes priority over everything else. So just focus on what you must focus on and take things one at a time. Don't worry about work, you'll get used to it in no time.

But as he looked closely, focusing on the embroidered piece that is sewed poorly on her skirt, by her own hands, it looked strange. The creature looked more like a pig, or whats left of a pig with a snout like that of a dog and it had a mouth that broke out like a lecherous grin of a sexual predator much like himself when he relieves his pent up desires at his computer.
"This is...?"
"A bear!"
"But... it is a dog... or a pig... it looks like..."
Then he saw it, from her eyes, little beads of watery drops formed, she is hurt... her onii-chan, does not like what she so painstakingly made.
"Uuuu... Onii-chan you don't like it...?" She pouted, her cute puffy cheeks started to swell ever more, a child she is, and the slightest streak of emotion seemed to draw all her inner well of tears out to the eyes.

She then pounced, onto his lap with her legs spread out, fully revealing the glory of her lovely underdeveloped thighs, clasping to her onii-chan's tights and mildly rubbing against his sensitive places.
With a warm hug, Kuma-tan kissed her onii-chan on his cheeks.

Much unlike the rest of the cast for Ijiatsu, Forza considers herself to be a selected few who has fine taste and sips fine wine instead of gulping sake like a certain oni.
On fine days, Forza would ride her stallion around her home, which unsurprising to be said, her vestigial wings do not really fly, but are for show only. She considers them beautiful and take care of it greatly. She lives near an island floating in a great lake, and with her rose garden as her hobby, as well as quality tea which she herself plants and drink, she is a peaceful youkai that lives away from the rowdy Ijiatsu crowd.
Attached with her head, an almost-always-there accessory is a headphone which she sums up as 'I rather not listen to the noise that everyone around me rouse about all day, some Mozart and Bach would be fine thank you' Traditionally speaking, she may be the only one who slaps the heroine's face with her glove before initiating a danmaku battle.

Forza's ability is like her name suggest, the Vault of Heaven, capable of pulling out various weapons to hurl at others, much like Gilgamesh can. Strangely, her danmaku are rose petals and the occasional horse shoe. (highly lethal if thrown at such speeds) Her ability allows her to keep stuff she finds or takes, in a hidden dimension within her body, which has limitless space. However, unlike a certain gap youkai, she cannot take things from a certain place and shoot it out from the hidden space, nor is she able to manipulate boundaries etc.

Alright, let's get this out of the way first: I kind of like Slaves'/poring's more modest take (i.e. a longer skirt would be nice) and I wasn't expecting the wings. I kind of wanted her to be a human instead of a youkai too, but I guess I just forgot (read: didn't care enough) to flesh out a backstory or anything. I thought her ability was manipulation of language rather than a Bag of Holding or whatever, although it is a neat idea. Also, no book :<, unless that is also currently in the Vault.
However, I do appreciate it, despite my nitpicking. I don't need that hat, but I think the headphones are a good idea. And as far as personality, I'd say that's a good approximation of how it would work in the Ijiyatsu world. So yeah, overall, nice job.

But there's no Akihabara in Gensokyo or wherever this takes place. :P If you really wanted to incorporate that aspect, she'd be more of a shopkeeper or a deliveryperson, but she's already a scholar so the latter doesn't quite mesh with that, I think.
Really, I'm more or less fine with the personality part, but the main problem is that she seems to be re-imagined every time she's drawn. Even Slaves went from a ribbon to another silly Suwako-style bucket-hat on my character. I'd at least like SOME consistency, but I'm not going to get too worried about it until the sequel (lol).

Actually all this started because I read that Slaves say we can all do our take on the characters.
I am fairly positive mine would be the least able to make a pass into the actual game quite simply because (aside from pretty portraits ala UNL/Alphes sorta, but we have FG for that)
Consistency wise, I like to reimagine things, then again, I did in fact based this Forza on Slaves's version, the sweater is kept, the scarf => cravat, a headphones + (Slaves original was that smug looking one with the scarf right?)

Oh man oh man. I was expecting a simple rehash of Ruro's and Slaves designs, but I suddenly feel like a kid in a candy store.
1. A labcoat is tempting, since I'm a proud physics major, but armor can be pretty cool too... I'll leave it up to you.
2. Hm, Caduceus or Asklepian? I think I'll take just one snake.
3. Neither the scope nor the hat seem too necessary to me. Add either if you feel like it'd look good.
4. My instinct is to say Monocle, but could you make it like a high-tech monocle-ish thingie? I love the way you draw machinery.
5. Whip, I think. Maybe whip-sword, like Ivy from Soul Calibur?
6. Tentatively, a full bodysuit. I dunno. Tights have never really been my thing. It's your call.

Were you trying to spell "Forza-sama" or something like that? You don't need the 'ha' syllable then.
For that website, type in the english word you want to translate into the English box and it will give you the Kanji and katakana for all the entries with that word. For example, "headphone" gives "ヘッドホン", although I think they're more commonly called "イヤホン" or "earphone"

anyway, here is Sonicbhoc by request.
This is supposed to be Sonicbhoc, my initial impression was... sadly, a Sonic the Hedgehog furry.
Then, I realized this is the guy who seems to be always on something about a game, or the likes of gaming, so what better than a girl who is the embodiment of game weapons?
Sonicbhoc possessed the uncanny ability to recreate every game weapon (melee non mechanical) she fantasizes or have seen to her body with some skill of using them, albeit always failing and hence causing cuts and bruises everywhere. She has a notable scar on her left eye, which is painted over to resemble tears instead. Blue eyes are a daring mismatch of twin colored hair makes her notably one of the colorful characters.... but she retains a cold front to other people... at least it seemed that way.
Attached to her hair is a legendary artifact, the trident of Neptune, and using the is perhaps her best skill yet. The thing also doubles as her danmaku swing, when she does swing that thing around, feel the wrath of her danmaku mastery!
Aside from this, her skirt carries a myriad of the weapons she manifested, these weapons are normally thrown, occasionally she may chase after people with them. Overall however, Sonic is the sort of girl that quite simply remains quiet unless talked to, in reality, she is both lonely and always wondering why she seems to be standing outside the social circle.

5. clean
6. scan
7. digital clean
8. shading, filters
9. some dose of color
10. finally done
is a lot of work... a hell lot of work. I normally lose patience before that.

Especially when it's something as simple as *Moerin molests Nobu~* or something along those lines. If it's even this sort of thing that you want to root out, then I think you need to make that clear that those sorts of teasing amongst friends isn't allowed either. :<

I have no particular personal problem when it's done among friends. The general problem is that some people might see it and think it inappropriate, and others might see it, think it's okay and start running around doing it willy-nilly and eventually freaking someone out. In addition, going "only friends can do this" smacks of elitism, similar to what you called me out on during the "e we" debacle when I listed a whole bunch of people allowed to use it and told everyone else to sod off.
If the people want to force an "everyone or no one" choice then it's not a choice at all and "no one" will be the rule, hands down.
