Hm... so would we get anything out of letting Aya in on it being a dream...? For the most part we've been trying to keep it at a minimum, keeping it to just really close friends and family (except for Parsee, where we kind of needed to), and Aya probably wouldn't be the best person to let know that she's in a dream...

So, delay for a bit.

Ah, what the hell, might as well try it. Though, might want to keep it a bit covert, since we don't know what's up with Tamiko (I'm guessing Reimu's mother, which could mean anything at this point).

Best not to inform her, I think. Things'll get weird if too many people clue into what's going on.

I know, but in character, it's really weird that Aya doesn't remember Sanae, with them having a pretty good relationship, so she'd probably press on it at least. Anyways, my plan now is to make a hasty exit, and try to talk to Momji to see what's going on. Momiji remembered us well enough, so she might be able to fill in some holes without us alerting her.

This is pretty suspicious, because it doesn't really take much to snap someone out: it only took our name and when we met her to snap Parsee out, and we barely know her.

Right now I'm having a hard time trying to figure out how to leave quickly without making those two even more suspicious.

I agree, but the point seems to be Tamiko. I guess it's weird and all that Aya doesn't remember us, which might mean this is someone else disguising as her we're looking at, or perhaps Aya's memory is really bad or something. She's met basically everyone in Gensokyo, so that would make a bit of sense.

But Tamiko.. this is a dreamworld, of course, but she's bound to have some kind of Gensokian counterpart, right? My guess right now is that this is actually just Reimu not realizing she's dreaming of some ancestor. That doesn't really account for the husband, though.. We might wanna check that out sooner or later.

Or it could be that dream Aya simply doesn't remember because that's what she's dreaming right now.

Tamiko probably is not Reimu, not unless Reimu has serious self esteem and self loathing issues that we don't know about, and not everyone has a counterpart (Charlotte says hi, and I'm pretty sure if we go to the city we can find Moomins).
