Either we run now, or we dedicate ourself to facing it. If we do the latter, the best thing is to call out. Fewer surprises.

At this point, Nitori's a death seeker: unless she thinks that Fuuko and Yuuko will be in danger, she won't try hard to keep it from harming her.

Only idea I have is to fall to full orztic bowing position and apologize. That should confuse her, if nothing else.

Also, "Yuuko, get out of here! If you're going to insist, then THAT'S AN ORDER! GO!"

If she's not going to come to her senses on her own, then maybe she'll listen to her master ordering defiance.
There was something here once. Wonder what...

At this point, Nitori's a death seeker: unless she thinks that Fuuko and Yuuko will be in danger, she won't try hard to keep it from harming her.

There's a potential counter to that. She certainly may not think her own life is worth a damn, but she MAY be the only one who can fix some of the things that her old self made wrong. And she might be driven to make sure that happens before she meets her own demise.

Also, in terms of tactical decisions, we don't seem to be particularly armed at the moment. Nitori doesn't know WHAT is coming, but has reason enough to doubt she could take on something that was sealed up this tightly.

Only idea I have is to fall to full orztic bowing position and apologize. That should confuse her, if nothing else.

While narratively appropriate, I have my doubts that this would dissuade her for a moment, given her current state, and what Nitori did to her.

When I say prepare, I don't imagine Nitori trying to fight, but rather pacify.

Part of me is inclined to think it's most logical for Nitori to head to the security tower, and get a look at what she's dealing with from a safe location. Tracking it should also be possible from there.

On the other hand, I'm not sure how that gives us better tools to deal with the situation than we have right now. It's not like we can just lock her in a subsection and speak to her from there, or at least as far as we recall our own technology.

I do wonder if Nitori had anti-escape measures installed?

It seems logical, and we KNOW she has a tranquilizer gun, but neither is much use to us if we can't recall where they are, or that they even exist.

I would say Nitori is probably smart enough to know she'd have a fall back in place in case this happened before she came to her senses. The trick would be finding it. And if you're going to have something like that, having it where all the detection stuff is seems a good idea.

Seconding this.  Not a good idea to take a pissed off/insane hell raven head on.

Apparently, Thomas the Tank Engine isn't one to take crap from anyone.
