>Do we see anything?

> As much as thought is sight:
> Your bastion.
> Surrounded by raging thoughtstreams.
> Uncontrolled.
> In the distance, yawning chasm, swallowing thoughtstreams.
> Beyond the chasm, where the thoughts cannot reach, a young forest.
> Forest bearing cruel scorched and lifeless scars.

>Move the Bastion at 7 knots towards the yawning chasm.  Steady as she goes!

> The whole mindspace trembles as your landmass shifts forward, inoxerable as the shifting of continental plates.
> Parting the raging thoughtstreams like a hot knife cleaves through butter, you reach the chasm that so completely swallows the current.
> It is a vast gulf, yet it is certain that the waters must cross it should Utsuho's mind be reconstructed.

>Try to picture an aqueduct over the chasm, and will it to form.
>Should this not happen, would our landmass suffice as an aqueduct?

> The thoughtstreams below warp and bend, forming whirlpools and eddies as land begins to form and rise all around.
> Pillars and outcroppings surge out of the cliff wall with deafening force, bit by bit forming a great bridge towards the distant land.
> As the waters flow along their new route, so does your bastion sail along them, just behind the leading edge of the forming bridge.
> And, with a finality that rattles the world, your bastion settles on the far end, serving as the last connection for the thoughtstreams to rush into the scorched land...
> ...
> ...
> Akyu is lightly shaken awake by Koishi, who is doing her best to hide her emotions. Her feeling of relief is palpable, for, just minutes ago, she was convinced that she had all but destroyed her traveling companion's mind.
> The sense of pressure inside the cabin has vanished, replaced by a wondrous feeling of contentment.
> Satori and Utsuho sit together in a tight embrace.
> The silence in the cabin is only interrupted by the occasional sob from either of the two.

>Are we laying down? Let's have a lay down on the floor. We earned it.

> The floor is comfortable and steady, never threatening to go anywhere or do anything unusual.
> Koishi wonders if Akyu knew what she was getting herself into when she entered the system, or whether it was a turn-of-the-moment decision. Still, she wondered to herself, Akyu's help was invaluable in the process of reconstructing Utsuho's mind, and for that she'd be eternally grateful - she might not always look eye-to-eye with her sister, but family is family.
> Gratitude.

I don't usually play in many text adventures beyond parsing, but I've followed Akyu Quest since it's beginning.
If memory serves, it's been around since before Okuu Quest. So it looks like Fightest has the record for longest-running single text adventure focusing on one main character.

> Marisa shrugs.
> "As much of a message as you can figure out from that mess, anyway. I reckon there might be some with the wrong idea."

>How are Utsuho and the Komeiji sisters doing?
>"Will you be going to the Underground?"

> Utsuho is talking quietly to Satori. The tiniest of ripples touches your mind every so often, but they are so discreet that you cannot even decipher the intent behind them.
> Koishi stands a bit to the side, adopting an aloof pose, trying to get across the impression that this wasn't a big deal for her, an everyday favour. She was most certainly not going to show anyone just how harrowed and vulnerable she was.
> Nod.
