>Hold hand up to keep the others from entering.
>Observe the rabbit. Does she seem to be leaving or something anything?

>You hold your hand up, and Mokou stops, although Rumia seems not to understand the gesture, and pokes her head around the corner, too.
>The rabbit seems to be walking down the corridor, away from you.

>Let her go where she is going. Look around for other rabbits or the like.

>She walks a little further, than disappears into a room to her right.
>You don't see any other rabbits at the moment. Hopefully quite a few of them are asleep at this point.

>Head through the door, go eastward.
>Approach intersections with caution.

>You move cautiously into the mansion and head down the hallway. You pass by numerous doors along the way, but all of them are closed. You think you hear snippets of chatter somewhere in the distance, but cannot tell for sure where it's coming from. Nowhere close by, anyway. You reach the door at the end of the hallway when you hear another one start to slide open somewhere behind you!

>Are these doors paper doors? If so, can we see anything through the one in front of us?
>If there doesn't seem to be anything through it, or if we just can't see at all, go through the door in front of us quickly.

>Are these doors paper doors? If so, can we see anything through the one in front of us?

>They are, but they aren't particularly transparent. You don't see any obvious forms behind the door, however.

>If there doesn't seem to be anything through it, or if we just can't see at all, go through the door in front of us quickly.

>You quickly open the door and move through it. You find yourself in another courtyard, larger than the last, and more decorative. There is an ornamental pond near the center, a zen rock garden, and several stands of carefully landscaped trees. It is understated, but elegant. A wooden walkway with an overhanging roof runs along all sides of the courtyard but the south wall. There appear to be a couple rabbits chatting with each other near the pond.

>Step away and look back to see who else is coming.

>You step away from the doorway, and peek back down the corridor. You see a rabbit walking towards you. She suddenly stops.

>Curse rabbits for being nocturnal

>This certainly would be quite a bit easier if they were all polite enough to be asleep when someone wants to break into their home

>Close the door.
>Fix a look on the rabbit.
>Put a finger to our lips.
>Assuming she doesn't instantly panic, beckon for her to approach.
>On the likelihood she does panic, glance to Mokou and say, "We've tried to be stealthy and kind, I suppose."

>Close the door.
>Fix a look on the rabbit.
>Put a finger to our lips.
>Assuming she doesn't instantly panic, beckon for her to approach.

>You step back into the room and close the door behind you, making eye contact with the rabbit, and putting a finger to your lips. She takes a step back, and stares at you, clearly dumbstruck and a little afraid. Then she looks at Mokou, and you can see realization dawn on her face. "It- It's you!" she says, then turns around and bolts down the hallway.

>On the likelihood she does panic, glance to Mokou and say, "We've tried to be stealthy and kind, I suppose."

>Mokou grimaces.

>Go back into the courtyard, and look for ways to continue on.

>You let the rabbit go, and she scrambles off and turns the corner into the adjoining hallway.
>You head back into the courtyard and look around. There is a second door leading west, further to your north, and two doors leading east on the other side of the courtyard, directly opposite the westward ones. There is also a single larger door heading north.
>The rabbits are still talking near the pond in the center. They don't appear to have noticed you.

>"Let me know if anything looks familiar Mokou."

>Mokou looks around, then whispers. "Not sure which of those two. Might be that one." She points at the northeastern door.
>You actually recognize this place from your tour. The north leads to some of the public chambers where the exhibits were displayed and eventually to the main entrance. You don't know what's beyond any of the other doors.

>No way we're gonna be able to take that rabbit down without excessive noise, and there's certainly no way we're faster than she is.
>Head for the Northeastern door. Just walk like we're supposed to be here, and head into it.

>No way we're gonna be able to take that rabbit down without excessive noise, and there's certainly no way we're faster than she is.

>At the very least, she didn't start shouting when she ran off...

>Head for the Northeastern door. Just walk like we're supposed to be here, and head into it.

>You walk confidently into the courtyard, taking a path that keeps the rabbits' backs to you for as long as possible. Although you're moving fairly quietly, the sounds of a group of three ends up being fairly audible on the grass. Eventually, when you're a little more than halfway there, you hear their conversation die down.
>"Um, guys?" one of them says, timidly.

>"Yes?"

>You turn to look at the rabbits, and find one of them staring at you nervously and fidgeting, while the second is looking rather expectantly at her neighbor. The third doesn't seem to know quite what you make of you, yet.
>"Uh...wh- who are you?" the one in front eventually speaks, her eyes darting away from making actual eye contact.

>"Um, well.... er-" the first one mutters. You hear the timid one half-whisper to her neighbor as you start to walk away. "Do they do that?"
>"Uh, must've, I guess," says the third. "You know how it works."
>You make it to the door without further incident.

>If so, walk through.

>The door does appear similar to the previous ones
>You open the door and enter. You are in another medium length corridor running east. There are several doors along both side of the length of the corridor, and a second corridor intersects it where you're standing, heading south. At the end of the corridor, it appears to turn north.
>As you enter, you think you hear motion on the other side of the courtyard

>"By this point, I think I'm almost getting used to you knowing things that I don't and probably should," Mokou replies.

>You reach the end of the corridor. Another extends to the north, at your left. It is narrower than the previous one, and there are doors only along the eastern wall. Two of them to be precise.
>You hear the door behind you slam open
