>Don't make a run for it.

>You contemplate making a break for it, but suspect that might make things worse.

>Grab Mokou if she seems like she's about to go into asskick mode, otherwise she take her by the arm.
>"Sorry about that. We're just looking for someone."

>Mokou looks a little testy, but not yet ready to set anyone on fire over it, yet, at least. You take her by the arm in the hopes of stifling any change she might change her mind.
>You apologize to the oni. "Hey, I'm someone!" She leers.

>You're probably not, so you shift a step or two.
>The oni laughs. "Can't'cha see I'm busy, here? Yer jus' lucky I'm in a good mood. Isn't that right?" She reaches out to thump her hand against your shoulder. Or so you think, anyway. She stumbles as she tries this, and doesn't manage to complete the gesture.

>"Yeah, we'll get out of your hair. Have you seen Suika anywhere?"

>"Eh, over there somewhere." She gestures vaguely in the direction of some of the gathered oni, and then stumbles off. "Have fun, now!" she mutters as she leaves.

>"Thanks!"
>Head somewhere over there. Entertain no plans to let that arm go.

>You head off towards the crowd the oni pointed at, keeping a first grasp of Mokou's arm. She seems distinctly uncomfortable; how much of that is holding arms in a crowd of oni, and how much is simply being in a crowd of oni, you're not sure. You can certainly share her sentiments on the latter. Though many of the oni are too preoccupied with their own activities to notice you, those who do give you looks ranging from confused to downright intimidating. You get the disturbing feeling that this could get nasty very quickly if someone sparked it.
>It doesn't take you long to spot what you think if Suika a small ways in the distance. She's kind of obscured, but that tiny figure darting back and forth between people looks an awful lot like her.

>Ascertain inebriation level.

>She seems a fair bit more sober than the last oni. Well, sober is probably the wrong word for it, given the circumstances. You settle for 'less incapacitated.'

>You figure that depends on how many oni choose to get involved. Or, at least, bother to chase you directly, rather than fall in among their neighbors in a general melee or something.
>The oni nods, and you turn to leave. You hear her humph behind you. Mokou gives you a sidelong glance, and Orin seems to breath a sigh of relief.

>Make to circle around, and try to approach Suika from the other side.

>You make your way away without further comment, and take the long way around, approaching the open space where Suika was from the other direction.
>Orin spares another sigh when you're out of range. "I really thought one of you two were gonna end up settin' her off. Some of the oni don't care much about the surface, either way. Others, well... old grudges, and all, you know?"
>Aside from the usual hazards of navigating drunken revelry, you reach your destination without incident. You can see Suika ahead, meandering back and forth, alternating between taking swigs from her gourd and tossing various morsels from a nearby table into her mouth. You don't immediately see the oni you had an argument with, although there's a good chance she's not too far away.
