Here's another one which I'm pretty sure I'm going to ask:

"Did Yuuka, Gengetsu, Mugetsu, Yukari and Shinki create their own worlds themselves with their own power? (Mugenkan, Dream World, Gap World and Makai respectively) If not, how did these worlds come to be?"

She made the border around Gensokyo.
The Hakurei clan built a shrine to protect said border.

If Reimu is killed by Youkai, said border (might) collapse, Gensokoyo gets destroyed, everyone panics, they lose existence.

Also, there is no definite map of Gensokyo, but, you can find a list of locations in the Touhou Wiki.

I remember reading that Sakuya only gets involved in an incident if it has a relation to the mansion or Remilia so why did she get involved in Perfect Cherry Blossom and Phantasmagoria of Flower View? As far as I've played them, there was not really that much threat to the mansion.

Actually, both of those have already been answered. For Perfect Cherry Blossom, it's mentioned in the prologue of the game: Sakuya gets involved because she was running out of supplies, and wouldn't be able to survive the winter if she completely ran out. For Phantasmagoria of Flower View, it's mentioned in her character profile: she had just heard that something was happening, so she went to take a look.

Who's the god of the Hakurei shrine and why are they so completely forgotten, what happened to the rest of the Hakureis, who (if anyone?) raised Reimu... Something like that. I'd take time to phrase it very carefully, for fear that ZUN, like a genie, would twist my words at any opportunity.

Not-Edit: Re: Sakuya's involvement in incidents, I sort of think her PoFV ending implies -- or at least I infer from it -- that she's actually fairly interested in solving incidents, it's just her duty to Remilia that keeps her from doing it more often.

Nah, there have been a few things (particularly this chapter of CoLA) making it clear that the Hakurei shrine does have a god, but even Reimu has no idea who/what it is.

...Supposedly it's kinda pissed off by now. That poor god.

Why did Sanae takes Sakuya's place as the third playable character? was it to satisfy the fans growing thirst for armpit fetish or simply because Sakuya is becoming obsolete? I personally prefer Sakuya and all the meme's surrounding her including the pa-*KNIVED*

Inaba of the Moon and Inaba of the Earth seems to have confirmed that she didn't take the Hourai Elixir. Kaguya nearly strangled her with a leek, and after that, Eirin claims to have saw a bit of the world on the other side.

I read somewhere, that the date of the sealing was the year when they first introduced paper money in Japan.
