>It withdrew entirely? Connect with the gems!

>You try to strengthen your connection to the gems.
>You can feel them more strongly now; you know for certain that they are those four moons. You can also feel that the presence is strongly connected to them. It...seems to be drawing on them to live. Without them, what little mind it does have likely would not exist.
>You can also feel that the presence is at the Green Gem, trying to hamper your connection efforts there.

> Stay frosty.

>You open a gate to the green moon. You feel it relatively close to where the presence is.
>You stay calm. This isn't like before, when you panicked and tried to run.

> Go through the portal, be ready for anything in the process.

>You step through the portal.
>You emerge in an underground cavern. No...not a cavern, it's too artificial-looking. You're in some sort of immense mind shaft, easily dozens of feet wide and high, extending out further than you can see.
>Up ahead, you see the presence. It has taken on the appearance of the statue and is kneeling; you sense it cannot take the shapeless omnipresent form it favored in your world. You suspect this means you would be limited as well. It sees you as you step out of the portal, and stands.

>Dodge the flames and shoot danmaku at the statue

>Thankfully you are far enough away that the flames, five large blasts spreading outwards, are not difficult to avoid and counter with your own shots. They strike the stature and bounce off of its exterior, leaving some small dents.
>The statue sudden stoops down and slams its palm onto the floor, sending a wave of energy racing across the floor toward you. It dashes toward you in the wake of this attack.

> Side-step out of the way of the statue, then jump over the wave of energy at the proper time.(Jet Force Gemini manouver :smug:)

>As the statute does not dash through it's own energy wave, you end up doing these things in reverse. Or rather, you try to. As you leap over the wave, the statue closes the gap between you. You try to sidestep, but the statue's reach is long enough that this does not matter. It strikes you across the chest with enough force to send you flying.
>You hit the ground, landing face up. Curiously enough, you don't feel much pain. There was certainly an unpleasant shock from the blow and from hitting the ground, but no lingering pain. Instead you feel disoriented and weak, and your connection to the gems is ebbing away again.

>Shoot several streams of danmaku at the statue, while expressing negative emotions at it!

>You try not to let yourself get too distracted.
>It's not difficult to through negative emotions at the statue at the moment, as you are not very happy with getting punched. It doesn't seem so effective here as it did in your world, but the statue pauses for a moment as it kneels down again. Without rising from the ground, you fire upon it, your bullets battering its metal form and denting it a bit more. The statue slams it palm onto the floor again, then again and again, sending three more waves of blue energy flying at you.

>Get up and dodge the waves, try flying, and keep shooting at the statue, always at the same spot.

>You aren't able to stand that quickly!
>But, you find that flying works. In fact, flying works better than it ever has before. You don't need to worry about maintaining speed, you can hover flawlessly, you barely have to think about it at all. You manage to get above the waves just in time, and continue firing on the statue, hitting it in its golden chest. It moves aside, making it harder to focus your aim, then dashes toward you again.

>You back away, find it isn't going to be enough, and duck down.  Most of the flames pass over your head, but one of them catches you in the face. You feel a great flash of heat and disorientation, and stumble back. You do feel tired, like you've been running for awhile.
>As your eyes readjust, you see the statue's fist descending toward your head.

>You sidestep away from the blow cleanly, shaking off the last of you disorientation. Having been in this situation a couple times before, you anticipate its follow through where it turns the missed strike into a wide outward chop and back away from it.
>As it recovers from the chop, you see an opening to act or draw back.

>You step back, spraying it at random with Danmaku and denting it here and there. Unfortunately, you have misread its action completely as another wave of blasts fly from its outstretched hand. Several of them slam into you, knokcing you off your feet. Again, there is no pain, just a sense of confusion and heat, and a lingering sort of tiredness.
