>"Pretty much what I just said," says Lunasa. "Um, both go at the same time. So double KOs happen. If you're defending, you do that before anything else happens. If there's traits you use, rather than passive, they go next. Sometimes there are exceptions. Then attacks and passive traits at the same time. It's easy."

>"How many cards can you use at once? How long does 'damage' done to them last? What happens when one of them is... KO'd, as you put it?"

>"Just one at a time in quick matches," says Lunasa. "There's styles where you can use two at a time, though. Oh, and damage only lasts in, um, the game they're in. Next game it's gone. When they'd KO'd, you don't get to use 'em in that game. But you can in later ones."

>Green Snake really doesn't seem to have a lot of oomph to it. It does have a trait to ignore defense, though.

> "Consider the situation, it's either use Green Snake which I assume would be bested within one attack, but I cannot use False Legendary Maid unless I meet the requirements... should I just ignore that one rule and use it? Or am I going to have to accept a loss?"

>"Oh, you got the False Legendary Maid, it's the real one we thought you had but were wrong." says Merlin, "See?"
>She shows you another page in the book. The False Legendary Maid's picture is clearly made to resemble that of the true one; the positions and such are exactly the same. But the False Legendary Maid is a clockwork thing with a large crank key in its temple, looking rather like something Nitori might dream up. It also seems to be causing as much mess as it's cleaning. At a glance, it seems your spellcard does match its parameters.

I thought it was usable, just losing 400 health at the start of each round and taking 1000 damage when it actually attacks?

>False Legendary Maid:
>Life: 2500
>Attack: 2500
>Traits:  Backlash: Takes 1000 damage when it attacks. Fueled: Consumes 400 life per turn at the end of each turn.
>"Sure!" says Merlin, and she flips to another page. There you see a picture of  a humble-looking garden snake in a tomato patch, just minding its own business.
>Green Snake
>Life: 100
>Attack: 100
Traits: Sharp Teeth: Ignores all defense actions and defensive traits.

> "Considering the rules limiting the use of the False version, would I be permitted use of it in this game? Either by skipping the rule or by the requirements matching up? Green Snake most likly would not last long here..."

>"You can use it, um, if you wanna," says Lunasa. "Fair and square."

>"Do cards ever regenerate without being specifically healed by abilities?"

>"Not without the right trait, no," says Lunasa. "Only a couple cards do it, too."
