>You fly higher up, soon exceeding the height where the clouds would be, and reaching your normal ceiling. Normally the air would be a bit thin and uncomfortable, but it doesn't seem to be the case here.

Don't shoot the moons anymore, they're clearly connected to us. It's probably the equivalent of shooting the gems in the normal world.

>The sky here is pretty empty. There's no clouds or anything. You also note that the stars seem pretty dim, but this may be due to there being four moons in the sky.
>No, wait, the stars are dimming! You watch one of them wink out of the sky, feeling oddly sad.

>You try to fly to the Red Moon. You quickly realize this isn't going to work; it's simply too distant. Even with a lunar veil, it would take some time.

> "Hello? Anyone out there?"

>You wonder if you are alone, and ask aloud. You receive no answer, but you feel that you are not alone here. You cannot tell what else is here, or where it is. But you know it is here. In your heart, you feel that it is not a person like you are.

> Detect location of gems
> Attempt to use gems in the usual manner, infusing danmaku and firing at air. do NOT target anything, the moons or ourselves
> (Sure, why not) Wake up

>You try to feel where the gems are. They seem to be... above you. No, there's everywhere. No...they're nowhere at all.
>You try to draw upon the gems' power, and have no luck at all. You can feel there is a slight connection between you and they, but apparently not enough of one do do anything with them. This connection feels like it is failing you.
>You wonder if this is a dream, and try to wake up. You do not, but you get the feeling that you are not actually here. Or rather, that you're also somewhere else as well as here.

>Oh, Detect Apparation with light waves if it feels like it's around.

>You try to bend the light, and don't reveal anything.

> Hope the realization causes a textbook example of waking up upon realization.

>You try to tell yourself this is an illusion, and feel that it is not really right. At the same time, it's not really wrong.
>This doesn't seem to affect anything around you, though a few more stars die out as you try it.

> Feel with gems
> Pinch Self
> Try to sense threats outside of "here"

>You try to feel through the gems. The sensation is...a numb one. You think the connection may have grown too weak to allow for that. But as you try, you feel a little of that empty feeling...not quite recede, but shift around a little.
>You pinch yourself. This doesn't cause anything unusual.
>You try to turn your attention outward. You feel...that you're still there, holding the red gem. You aren't aware of anything else around you.

>You don't think that this place and the "real" world are connected in that kind of way.  You can't really see there at all....you don't know if your senses are really active there. What you sense here seems to either be overriding it, or is simply more real to you now.

>You put it on, and you feel a bit better. The few remaining stars don't seem quite so dim now. There is still that gnawing sense of emptiness, and now a terrible feeling of being truly alone in the darkness. But  now, perhaps, you feel you can face it.
